The "white sauce" is sour cream.

Well, OF COURSE I haven't paid, you weren't there!

But yeah, this is just one example of the wonderfully idiotic kind of things that McDonalds has pulled.
That same thing happened to me at KFC!!! I waited like 5 minutes at the payment window and the girl never showed so I went to the 2nd window and she freaked out. She yelled at me about how i'm suppose to wait and the 1st window until she comes yada yada yada, and how she was going to tell the manager that I tried to avoid paying. So I told her that she could go ahead and tell the manager, and I'll tell my uncle (who's the supervisor of all the KFCs in the city) and see who gets in trouble more--her or me.

Really? I do agree that the southern chicken isn't very good, although I had the sandwich not the biscuit, but I don't think Chick-Fil-A is good either.

For some reason, I think that's one of the funniest things I've ever read on this site...I think the term is "deadpan."

Ditto. I wanted to say it so badly. I'm glad epchick said it.

I've had more proplems with Wendy's than any other fast food restaurant. For a place that custom makes each and every order, it's amazing how often they get it wrong.

A few years ago, Mr. KR and were driving on I-95 and we stopped at a Wendy's drive through and got something to eat. When I opened up my chicken sandwich, I saw that it had mayonaise on it and I detest mayonaise on my chicken sandwich. So, instead of turning around and going back, we pulled into the next Wendy's we saw. I marched in, told them that their drive thru people had made a mistake, and got a new sandwich

I love the one in Providence. They make great hot chocolate and the line in the morning is usually pretty short (if there is a line) not like the long lines @ DD! Yum!

Wendy's:

My then roommate and I through drive through and I order my sandwich without lettuce. We get our food and then pull over in the parking lot to eat (we were both hungry but didn't want to go inside.) I check my sandwich, it has lettuce. I go inside now and talk to the manager. He tells them to make it without lettuce. I open it up in front of him...yup, there was lettuce. He then went and made it for me.

Taco Bell:

Always running out of chicken.

There's a bunch of locations in Connecticut - I don't think I've ever stopped at one, but there are quite a few in the area.

^^ Hell no! I'll take Dunkins over Starbucks any day. Especially because Starbucks' hot chocolate sucks.

The Starbucks in my town has weird hours (it's inside of another store), so Dunkin becomes the place to go most mornings for coffee. I'm not a big coffee drinker myself, but I like Starbucks drinks better than Dunkin's. If I'm going to just have a black coffee, I'll make it at home.

Go to a Barnes and Noble and order hot chocolate from their Starbucks-esque cafe. They have Godiva hot chocolate. The first time I had it, I whispered to my co-worker, "Is this what sex is like when you put it in a cup?"

Okay, I don't discriminate AT ALL, but this is something I can't handle. I went to McDonald's in DC and NO ONE spoke English. If it wasn't a menu item, they didn't know it. I was trying to ask if the "light" lemonade was sugar-free because my dad's diabetic and no one had a clue what I was asking, including the manager. I'm all for retaining your own culture, but please speak the language of the majority if you're going to work with the majority!

At first I was thinking that it was because she was new, but even if that was the case she should know what you meant. She's been to fast food places before and ordered via drive thru. So she should have known better than that.

I think I love it because I grew up on Dunkins. In Nashua, NH, where I lived for 18 years, they have at least 10 of them. They're everywhere.

And can we at least agree that Krispy Kreme is awful? haha. Their coffee is horrible and their donuts, well.. they're not like Dunkins'. I love that they built a KK in Medford, MA and it went out of business within a few years of opening.

Same thing happened to the KK in downtown Boston (inside Copley). It didn't last long at all.

I grew up around Dunkin my whole life as well (grew up in CT, went to college in Boston). Some of their stuff is ok, but I'm not as into it as other New Englanders.
