They might just use this as a coaching opportunity as well.

I would pass your concerns on to the lower level of the international volunteer structure (in my group, they are specialists responsible for two or three chapters). She always has to approve of a CA's nomination. If that are concerns, she should be advised about it because during nominations, she can block such a nomination. In addition, she has the ability to remove a problem adviser.

I would forward the nasty email to the person responsible, whether it is the specialist, the director, or the HQ staff member responsible for the chapter.

i agree with morag-this should be sent to higher ups-but go to your regional officer(in zta that would be a province president).

jenny should be removed-she is damaging the chapter by running off all the help, yet is not willing to fill the void she is creating. she sounds very immature-has she recently graduated from college?

a membership advisor who does not show up for recruitment? a general advisor who does the same? wow! that's inexcusable.

in addition, the advisors have to turn the responsibility of running the chapter over to the chapter. they are doing the chapter a disservice if they don't. advisors should be there to guide, to make sure that the rules are being followed, that the reports are being filed in a timely manner. they should not be there to run the show.
