Of course, you are right. I think I need more caffeine . . .
. . . although not as much caffeine as Suzanne seems to have had.

I think everyone could learn a little from this...
Boards that allow anonymous postings should never be trusted, and never be given anything more than a passing thought.
Imagine this scenario:
Rhonda Rushee graduates from High School and is all set for recruitment at college the coming fall. Somewhere over the summer, Rhonda gets into a huge fight with her now-ex-best-friend, Sara Slander. Sara, having quite a mean streak, decides to torch Rhonda's chances at her school's recruitment.
So, Sara posts an obnoxious post on an anonymous board. People read and react. Sara goes further by posting under a different pseudonym revealing Rhonda's actual identity. Sara could further pretend to be Rhonda, Rhonda's mother, and Rhonda's best friend: all the while writing posts that make Rhonda look, well, less than flattering.
Think back to when you were 18. It's not that far-fetched. In fact, it's more reasonable than believeing that the original post was valid.
Honestly, I hope the people at Texas Tech ignore this fiasco entirely, and make judgements based on the women they meet, not the women they *think* they've met.
[edited to fix a typo. ugh]

There is, of course, always a remote chance that it's true. That being said.....
She's going to college. Obviously she's been able to overcome her so-called disabilities enough to do that. There's such a thing as spell check. College professors aren't going to accept a paper full of errors like that. Hell, most give back papers to be redone if they have more that half a dozen typos (mine at least did that).
I think she's full of isht. I hope someone who knows more about dyslexia can step in here.
And- There's no such place as Eugafagia, btw. Did a google, that's gotta be made up.
BTW- can someone bump the original thread? I looked and looked for it to no avail.

hey i am not defending her but i am learning disabled and have dyslexia but i know a spell check and to read and re read to double check for spelling and gram. errors. I wouldn't of gottent hru college without help., so lets hope if this is true she gets help soon!
I lived in Oklahoma for yrs andi never heard of that lake unless she is mis spelling it.

I guess I overlooked the gist of the thread because for some reason, I couldn't get past "ATTENTION DEFECATE DISORDER". That isht was just too friggin' hilarious.

It may have been a typo or just a random brainless misuse of words, but damn did that version of ADD provide a lot of laughs for anyone who's read it

As you can see my Learning Disability is also centered around typing. i can't type to save my life. if one thing i learned in the law is if it smells like a fish ,and looks like a fish, guess what it is a fish! this smells like a lie to me. Yes, there is a lake eufala ( however it is spelled) but she is fake. to much inconsisent things. it is like someone said it wreaks of the my roommate did it thread

Embarrassed!
How dare she put that foolishness on LD and ADD!!!
I have a slight writing disability and the worst Attention "Defecate" Disorder there is. My writing may not be top notch, but it is nothing like that! Nor, do many people w/ those conditions have crappy writing like the above.
I'm not saying that she isn't effected by those things, because her writing style is characteristic of some of what she said, but there's no excuse. Spell check, tutoring, and/or medication does wonders. Like kddani said, if she made it to college, it would be impossible for her not to overcome them to some degree.
I'm calling bullshit and bad actor on this one!

I'm not quite sure what "balling" is outside of being a "baller".

If you assume for a moment the impersonation allegation is true:
maybe she didn't use go to the added work of a spellcheck and pasting into email/forum post and instead just typed out what she wanted to say and sent it because she was upset?
if it is true, remember we're talking a 120 comment thread on partyschool.com with pretty awful things said, this thread on GC, another thread previously etc. I wouldn't be humming 'Oh Happy Day' myself.

Are there any Tech girls on here? I'm interested in finding out if Ms. Suzie Q goes through recruitment and eithers admits to all this crap or denies it to the girls she talks to.

re: things on 'Net not as they seem sometimes
Opinion only, nothing more:
I think - and it is not for me to say (i.e just an opinion) - that because there is a possibility that someone may have been impersonating the girl meant to be behind the first post in the thread (just as there is a possibility that there is not), given the fact it is potentially SO damaging to her likelihood of success during Rush that the partyschool.com and GC threads should all be deleted.

yeah well I got the email too and it is definitly some bs. I mean first of all she wouldnt really need to be that worried I mean yes if it wasnt really her that wrote it then ok who in the hell is going to think that every girl going thru named Suzanne is this girl of course that isnt a super popular name so who knows she could be the only one lol too bad for her. but yeah Dislexia is where you read backwards it has nothing to do with how you spell, my dad had it and I remember him telling me all about it and I have a form off add or adhd actually but that does not mean i cant do anything like spell or anything. I mean thats just insane and crazy. oh well so sorry for the girl but she did it to herself.
