Rush starts tonight- my stomach is in butterflies for them!
I feel like a collegian all over again!
Anyway, I am heading down after work at 4:30 to help, if I am not too tired when I get home I will update.
There are around 300 (just under) signed up for recruitment but of course some of them did not show up last night and won't tonight, so we shall see. I learned through a friend of a Pi Chi that she has an AGD legacy from Theta Upsilon's chapter.
The rush #'s are down from the past few years I think they told me it's been between 325-400....
GOOD LUCK GIRLS!

so tired- I missed you two parties because I had to drive back... things went well, i will update beter tomorrow...
eta Here is the update (looking at the above line I was really tired last night!)
The girls were wearing denim skirts and teal shirts. Most of the girls going through rush were so adorable and so sweet. There were two that I decided I want to bring home with me and put on a shelf. They were too sweet and adorable. There are 6 AGD legacies going through. I met one last night and I have to say she was awesome. Any chapter would be so fortunate to have her - and she is stunningly beautiful.
As for our side- it went well. A few OOPS! but nothing major.
We had an LC return to us, Sarah Webb, for those wondering....
That's all I am going to say about that.
The recruitment consultant is there and things were quite busy! I forgot home much fun rush can be but also how frustrating it is!
Sigma Kappa got a new house- it is huge (well it is an old house, but new to them). It's almost directly across the street from KD.
There were 300 signed up and already 20-30 dropped.
That's about it!

So excited for you!
Sarah I am so excited for them. That is just excellent.
Please let me know if they got the flowers. I am so sorry that TU wasn't able to send anyone. If you need help with anything, please let me know. If you could, please PM me the names of all the members!
Thanks!
ETA: Do you know if any were legacies?

I was there!
They had 4 parties, whew, lol. Some Purdue girls, an LC and the IVP Collegians were there also!
Unfortunately, I had to leave BG before they had bid info.
There was 1 legacy but I don' t know what happened.
It's very special to see another chapter's pref ceremony..esp when they sing the same songs and feel the same.

I thought we were supposed to use only our colors during recruitment. How did they get permission to use teal?

Who said that? I think that they are wanting us to go towards a more unified pref look but I didn't think that it was suppose to be RED, Yellow, and Green t-shirts all week. Maybe I am wrong...
