Yeah, but "Epsilon Upsilon" sure sounds weird.

Ok, yeah Epsilon Upsilon would sound weird, but none of the others would! I feel like that kinda lessons our chapter count. I mean, I was all excited to start the Lambdas and now I realize it's really like starting the Kappas.

Here's the list of chapters from the ZTA website
http://www.zetataualpha.org/default....on=ChapterList
You can see at link 121 and 122 that Epsilon was completely skipped all together. Alpha Beta Gamma Delta EPSILON Zeta... but it goes from Delta to Zeta!!! And I know the site only displays active chapters but 121 is a Delta and 122 is a Zeta.
I also disagree with the decision to skip Epsilon.

We need to add the new colony starting at University of Rhode Island.
Will that bring us to 150 active undergrad chapters?

It's on the ZTA website. We're colonizing there Feb. 17-20. I'm so excited that we're starting to get more chapters in the New England area!

The local sorority Zeta Epsilon Tau Alpha is the chapter that we are taking over. I actually talked to the president and she told me that a TLC is coming to their school this weekend to help out with recruitment that starts soon. They actually colonized this past Monday. They are all very excited to join ZTA.

I had no idea that the Alpha chapter was shut down this year... I know they were shut down previously, but I find that so shocking! I read about the allegations against the chapter and I find that shocking and saddening. I personally find it so disheartening to know that the Alpha chapter is currently inactive...

i agree shortcake. however, we zetas on gc have chosen not to discuss this in open forums-we feel it is private zeta business.
