Yes! My boyfriend and I aren't really that into cars, but we love this show. We laugh hysterically at their crazy adventures. We just watched the one where they all bought SUVs without having seen or test-driven them before, they got dropped off in the middle of the jungle in Bolivia, and they had to drive all the way to Chile's coast. We were cracking up the entire time.
And the American version pretty much sucks.

I watch that one as well, but the Australia version is just so much better! More positive and less drama-for-drama's-sake. Also like that it's on 5 days a week. My go-to show while cooking and doing laundry.

I absolutely love the specials. Really liked the one they did in Africa this year.
ETA I also love watching any football game. Love football, hate most sports they broadcast live here. Cycling? Hours upon hours of Ice skating? No way. Too bad ESPN Europe has folded all activity on the continent. I'll have to find another way to watch the NFL by next week!

OMG YES! GCers with Netflix this is a must watch! I already finished the whole season and waiting a year for the next is KILLING me! It's the perfect mix of comedy, emotional drama, and suspense. It was renewed for a second season before the first one even premiered. 'Weeds' creator Jenji Kohan is the woman behind it, so if you liked that you'll definitely like OITNB. Stop what you're doing right now and watch the first episode!
P.S. Regina Spektor did the theme song, and it also rocks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBITGyJynfA

I just started watching Orange is the New Black.
I want to watch House of Cards but I have to get over the beginning, as Kevin Spacey's character kills a dog (that has been hit by a car, but still). I've heard it is really good.

We tend to watch movies more than tv series. I don't even know many current tv series!
Shows my husband and I really liked...
Soccer
NFL Football
Old game shows (Family Feud, $100,000 Pyramid, Password)
Jeopardy!
Cash Cab (oh, please, oh, please, let me get into it the very next time I'm in NYC!)
British shows I like but my husband simply tolerates
Downton Abby
Titanic: Blood and Steel
Keeping Up Appearances
(Would like to see Midwife)
Shows I like but my husband simply tolerates
Who Do You Think You Are?
Love It or List It
Yard Crashers (my PA house's back yard needs to be crashed!!)
Shows my husband likes that I simply tolerate
Doctor Who (although I'm embarrassed that I'm getting into it!)
Pretty much every baseball game televised

Shows My Wife and I Both Like to Watch
Chopped
The Big Bang Theory
The Amazing Race
Shows I Like (And Usually Watch Without Without My Wife)
The Glades
White Collar
Franklin & Bash
Vikings
Survivor
ACC Basketball
Shows My Wife Likes (And Usually Watches Without Me)
. . . not much really. She might watch Food Network, HGTV or a movie if she's looking for something to do, but she doesn't really have anything she regularly watches, other than what we watch together, since she gave up on Gray's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives years ago. And if she's looking for something to do, as often as not it won't be TV.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Star Trek (including all movies and spinoff series)
Life on Mars

Sliders
Shows he likes:
The Fades (This is a show about dead people. He decided to introduce me to this show two weeks after my mother died. Thanks, hon. )
<threaddrift>
A couple of years ago, AT&T introduced U-verse into my neighborhood. They sent a door-to-door salesman (they still HAVE those in the 21st century?!) around the neighborhood to try to sell people on the service. The salesman approached my husband. It went something like this:
Salesman (S): Hi, I represent AT&T and we're bring U-verse to your neighborhood! You and your family will be able to watch four different TV shows at the same time!
Husband (DH): Do you provide internet?
S: Of course we do! But think about it - four different shows at the same time! You can watch the game, your wife can watch her soaps, and your kids can watch Spongebob Squarepants or Dora the Explorer or Sesame Street or ...
DH: I don't watch sports and my wife doesn't watch soaps. We watch sci-fi, and we watch the same programs. And we don't have children. Do you provide internet?
S: Of course!
DH: How fast is your circuit?
S: ..... Did I mention you can watch four different TV shows at the same time?
DH: How. Fast. Exactly. Is. Your. Circuit.
S: ..... Did I mention you can watch four different TV shows at the same time?
DH: Get off my property. We're sticking with Cablevision.
