Our chapter has a tradition of passing on 'the Zeta bracelet.' When a Zeta sister gets married, she wears it on her special day. It's something borrowed and something blue, since it has Zeta Blue in it. This is very special to us, signifying a new era in our lives together as sisters.
I love the idea of the candle passing and especially sisters circling the groom and singing to him, and circling the bride and singing to her. Great ideas!
Some on my chapter did the belt thing, but mainly we would just all surround her holding hands and sing "Today and Forever". I'm realizing how old I am when I think back to the last time I actually did this at a wedding.
