* Event Operations Representative for Agility and Rally Events
Responsibilities include handling all phases of event processing for Agility and Rally events, including providing knowledgeable, proactive customer service to all inquiries. Specific duties include data entry of event information, assisting clubs with requests for information, assisting customers with event and dog award questions, and processing mail and financial payments.
Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent with one to two years of college preferred. One to two years experience in a busy office environment is also required with emphasis on heavy data entry/typing and customer telephone contact. Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office, working knowledge of Word and Excel. Familiarity with AKC competition rules, regulations and policies beneficial.
* Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities include answering telephone and e-mail inquiries from customers regarding AKC’s registration policies and requirements, as well as providing general information about the American Kennel Club. An in-depth training period of four to six weeks is required to familiarize candidates with all AKC policies and procedures.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework preferred. Must be PC literate with a pleasant and articulate telephone voice and manner. Ability to learn and retain extensive information about the AKC registration system and other department functions is required. Must exhibit a responsible and professional attitude with the ability to function under pressure and maintain composure. Previous experience interacting with the public is preferred.
* Event Operations Representative
This individual is part of a self-directed work team and facilitates efficient functioning of the Event Operations Department by providing knowledgeable, proactive customer service to all inquiries. This position handles all phases connected to show results processing, inputs and edits all information pertaining to event results, and answers inquiries about events.
Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or the equivalent and one to two years experience in a busy office environment. Requirements include experience with heavy customer telephone contact and fast, accurate data entry/typing skills. Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office and have strong working knowledge of Word and Excel. Must understand AKC rules, regulations and policies.
