Mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, spinach, bacon, olives or any combination of these works for me. I especially love bacon cheeseburger pizza!
All this talk about pizza, and my hubby doesn't eat it! Seriously jonesing right now...

While I was in college, a local joint featured pizza whose taste resembled sweet catsup with plenty of cracked black pepper on cardboard. Even the cheese had a cardboard consistency. Must've tasted heavenly to the drunken weekend crowd; the place didn't close until the mid-90s.
A second college establishment featured 'puffs' of pizza. Depending on your choice of puff flavor/type, those were either too difficult to chew or so thin their hot internal ingredients burst everywhere in a burning squirt when you bit into them.
We appreciated the local Pizza Hut, but it was located six miles (one way) across town and preffered not to deliver to the dorms (students not wanting to pay after receiving pizza/old versions of delivery meant cold arrival of eats). But if we could get ourselves to it, it was Pizza Hut for us. We especially loved that they had jukeboxes back then!

When I was in school, it was all about the pizza bagels! But we were also thrilled to go to a Pizza Hut - about 10 miles away,

I work for a pizza company now so I don't feel like I can chime in- but I haven't seen it mentioned here yet so I guess that's good
I agree on Pizza Hut being way overrated.

Papa John's is so gross. It may be that I got insanely sick off of it my freshman year of college during finals week. (So much that I ended up vomiting on an ER doctor who didn't hustle when I said I had to throw up again.) Even after 28 years I can't do pepperoni. And it's always swimming in grease.
Best pizza-- Wolfgang Puck's prosciutto and arugula pizza with a balsamic glaze drizzle.
And pineapple does go on pizza. LOL

I found out after starting working here that there is a line they do for grocery stores but it's not the main business. Some of the generic pizzas you get at a grocery store (store label) are made by my new company.

^^^ Story 2 is the beauty of not living alone. After seeing that, if I lived in this house alone, I swear I’d never order pizza or anything ever again.
