Sorry if this comes off bitchy, but there are enough misconceptions where this is concerned without perpetuating it further.

In reading this, I am not sure if any and all organizations are at all schools. From what I have read they are not.

From this on the Miami U.(Ohio) web site .. Sigma Kappa was there from at least 1992 thru 2001
http://www.units.muohio.edu/saf/gra/...spring2001.pdf
and per the all Sigma Kappa chapters ever thread ..
Alpha Iota (1922-2001) - Miami University (Ohio)
which is (now that I look closely) in the list above
It looks like Delta Phi Epsilon is the 3rd NPC never chartered at Miami

I was at IU this past weekend and walked on the Greek Walkway. Apparently IU did have a chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma in the past. According to the stone, it was founded in 1969. I know nothing about it beyond that...but here's the stone:

As an Alumna of the Penn State Phi Mu chapter, who graduated in 2007, I can say that we are still at Penn State. Because we had RM problems a few years back, Nationals came in and kicked out a bunch of girls. Unfortunately, those girls began a local GLO. That local GLO has since been absorbed by Tri-Sigma, since Penn State no longer allows locals to operate for risk management reasons. Both Phi Mu and Tri-Sigma absorbed the two locals on campus, which helped with retention rates. It worked out well for everyone!

Very interesting! No where is there any information that Phi Sigma Sigma ever had a chapter at Indiana University, nor does the sorority list an inactive chapter there. Their Gamma Alpha chapter at Indiana University of Pennsylvania was installed in 1969. Is it possible that it was a colony but never installed? Maybe a member of Phi Sigma Sigma can unravel the mystery.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania has NOTHING to do with Indiana University. No need to even mention it.
