I'm guessing that M & M's chapter name is the same as that of another sorority and that's why she thought Junior Mints gave her a bid.
ETA, sk47, if this is too distinguishing and you don't want it to be let me know and I'll delete the post. I'm just proud of myself because I never ever figure this stuff out

None of the chapters at Ole Miss have a chapter name that is the same as a sorority. I bet she just saw the chapter designation and didn't know what it meant.

No, she says "Junior Mints, which she had never heard of." It was NOT the name of another sorority.

So many girls see those first two Greek letters and are momentarily confused.
