Occupation: Retired as LtCol after 22 years in USAF -- had served as an Intelligence Officer, primarily in Special Operations; last duty assignment was at the State Department. I am now a full-time domestic goddess and volunteer -- in my sons' (ages 11 & 9) schools, scouts and sports; also volunteer at my church and have served as the Chair of Peachtree City's Commission on Children & Youth
Favorite Gamma Phi Beta Memory:
In college, it has to be skating down the row on roller skates (inline skates had not been invented!!) in flannel Lanz nightgowns with Christi -- one of my best friends to this day -- we did that regularly!!
Well, I have so many fave memories -- being as old as I am!
Convention in DC in 2002 was fantastic -- got to room with one of the 50-year members of our Alum Chapter who came up from Georgia with me -- we both snored so loud and laughed so hard and just had a BLAST!!!
My most recent fave memory is going to the Rose Bowl on New Years Day 2004 with another sister from my chapter (she's a year younger) -- we had THE BEST time!
I just love Gamma Phi Beta!
