I'm pretty sure I'm going to love this season.

I couldn't believe he gave Erica a rose. The man clearly has poor judgment.. or did he feel sorry for her because she was one of the three biggest vote getters?

Anyways if your curious she works in the Nordstroms in Pittsburgh, PA in the young mens section.

So I guess this season I will be watching. LOL.
If she works at Nordstroms, how on earth does she afford 20+ acres in Sewickley? She was talking about all the land she has, and I was wondering what the heck kind of money she must come from.

(I'm hoping I didn't just confuse who was who, but I remember this specifically)

I thought the girl who got the most roses was the one that was a lacrosse coach with a 14 month old son, who kept lecturing the girls on single parenthood.

I really wanted to hug the widowed mom with the daughter, and then give her a make up lesson!! Every other girl had subdued makeup and hers was just so jarringly overdone. I'm glad she got a rose and hope somebody takes her under their wing and tells her eyeliner and lip liner like that went out a long time ago unless you are in a girl gang.

How pathetic was the girl who quit her job? She was personality-less. I think it was a pity rose.

I thought the most genuine girl was the one who got the "first impression" rose. I liked her.

I think I will like this season, but I am still somewhat queasy about the exploitation factor of having his son, a 4 year old, filmed for this type of thing (with all the nutjobs out there). I'm curious how his ex-wife feels about her son being on national tv. He is a cute kid and I hope this works out for them...

Speaking as someone who worked at Nordstrom one summer in college, I can say that Nordstrom pays a lot better than what you may think. Especially with commission. There are plenty of people there that make quite a nice living.

Is she divorced? The property may have been purchased while in a marriage.

Remember, he's not privvy to all the gossiping and conversation amongst the women. But I too was disappointed that she got a rose! She's very immature and seems to only be there for the competition. And it irked me that she told him, when she came out of the limo, that she had just come from Kirkland, yet then rambled off a couple places she had been in Seattle...did she swing through Kirkland just to see the town where he lives?

Yeah, but he saw her reaction when she was announced as being one of the three highest vote getters from the others.

Nordstrom's only been open for less than a year here, I think. But who knows, maybe she makes enough. But Sewickley is a VERY pricey area, so 20 acres would cost a bundle.

She kind of annoys me, but at the same time she seems to be much more of a real person than many of the other contestants.

I feel bad saying this, but the woman who is a widow frightens the hell out of me. I think she is just plain scary, drag-queen 50 year old looking. She seems like a good person, but just creeps me out.

Like I said, she needs a makeover. Her makeup is what makes her look old and drag queenish. There was a shot of her in the previews of the upcoming season where she was by the pool with less makeup and she looked about 15 years younger.

Poor thing, whoever taught her that more is better -

Less is More.

Uh yeah, how stupid must she be to call the other girls a-holes IN FRONT of Jason. Smooth move, Sherlock.

As far as Nordstrom's goes, I had a friend who worked in commission in the lingerie department and she made up in the upper $30s. So Nordstroms is definitely not a bad gig.

I'm not knocking the job but even if that was her salary (or even more) she wouldn't be able to afford even an acre in the area where she lives, let alone 20 acres and being able to raise a kid. My husband and I make many times that and couldn't afford to live there. Gotta be family money or divorce money in there somewhere.

Should be an interesting season, it's always funny to see who you thought was a decent person go totally batshit during the season.
