I'd like to see a recolonization at my alma mater and at Emory University.
that would be awesome.....i really want to go to Emory for grad school and it would be nice if there was a chapter there so i could help out since i would be in the area

UNC would be fantabulous.......we need more chapters in North Carolina *keeping fingers crossed with Elon though*

it's very hard for Southern schools to colonize an Alpha Phi chapter....people have no idea who we are and what we are about. this is what happened when we were asked to present at Wake Forest. we were up against very big southern sororities and they got the bid to colonize over us.

i would really like to become a chapter advisor when i graduate and it would be really nice if i could be in the same area as the chapter

Sorry to Crash, but I would love to see my local affiliate with Alpha Phi. Although I unfortunetly dont attend Sonoma State University anymore

Alpha Phi is a strong organization and SSU already has 3 great groups there, and I think Alpha Phi on campus would make a great addition. Its close enough to Berkeley and San Francisco State, so that makes it fun too!

Not to mention the over the past 4 years the girls have been really interested in Alpha Phi.

SSU has Gamma Phi Beta, Alpha Gamma Delta and Alpha Xi Delta. I'm surprised the Npr-Cal chapters dont visit eachother more often...isnt that a benefit of having sisters at other schools.

well the SFSU chapter visits berkeley once in a while.

Boo Chico isn't that fun during the summer, plus I won't be here! You do have to at least visit the house though, cuz our house is so pretty

Please excuse my crashing your forum, but wasn't there an Alpha Phi chapter at UT-Arlington at one time?? I agree that there needs to be a chapter somewhere in the DFW Metroplex.

bumping this one up to give a hint to sismadly's question in the yippee skippee thread

To add to the thread -
I would love to see recolonizations at U of Houston, Texas State, TCU, UT Arlington. And chapters in Nevada would be great too!

Tinydancer, we had one at Arlington back in the day.

TXAphi, check your PMs.

My vote is definitely for UNLV!

I want Kansas. ROCK, CHALK, JAYHAWK, BABY!

This one's off the beaten path, but I'd really like Fresno State. We've got a buch of alumnae out there who are very active in the APH and they rotate meeting at the houses. They should be able to rotate to an Alpha Phi house!

And if we're really dreaming, how about Stanford so we can have a Pac 10 sweep again. Because we all know the west is best!

I want Kansas too since I'm from there. Just glad to see us going back to OU ... KU is a great school and a great system from what I remember.

If we could get Kansas State too, that would make a good run of the BIG 12 schools and also strengthen Alpha Phi in that part of the country. With Nebraska to the north, Missouri to the east, Boulder to the West, and Oklahoma to the South ... too words ... NI-CE
