Phi Mu does indeed do alumni initiation, and my collegiate chapter has sponsored women even though there is no local alum chapter. Therefore, I believe it would be fairly simple to AI women who are still involved with your chapter.

Update from Pink-ville
Alright guys... lots and lots of hard work has gone into this whole going national thing. Keep in mind, we started the school year with 16 returning sisters. As of today (the eve before Formal Pledging and Bid Day) we have 20 (delta) sisters and 29 new phis!!! We have more than doubled in size! I just wanna tell you how awesome my sorority is. This group of girls means the world to me and recruitment and selection is one of the hardest things I've ever had to experience. I didn't like the process of judging and choosing girls last year, and I didn't like it this year. But we got through it, stuck it out, and got the "Go" from nationals today that we WILL be formally pledged tomorrow! So horray for us I've been updating the webpage constantly. If you want more updates (or to see what events we have coming up) you can visit www.delta-sigma-tau.com I'm still working on obtaining a new domain (so that it doesn't say Delta Sigma Tau anymore) but it's a hard task and not cheap. So our colony will start out with 49 provisional members!! Yay us!

Actually carnation, Gracy was already a Delta sister, but had gone inactive. She and one other sister have become "active" sisters again And no, Erica was never a green girl *wink* She bled orange and blue with the rest of us!

CONGRATULATIONS!
I am so happy for all of you Phi Mu "sisters to be " at Shorter! Welcome to the bond of Phi Mu, and to a sisterhood that can enrich your life for years to come.
And may I say, it's the most wonderful thing in the world to have you choose Phi Mu and allow us to come back on campus and re-establish a chapter that was closed in 1912. Miracles really DO happen.

Meagan,
I can't post private messages today--the website is acting up--but please tell Tessa and Tara that their former Spanish professor says congratulations!
