First of all, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your warm wishes

Last night I went back to five of the sororities for Philanthropy Night. I had an absolute ball doing arts-and-crafts activities and getting to know some more sisters, even though I'm not the most artistic person in the world. I was really impressed with some of the ideas the sororities had for fun activities, and I was glad to learn more about each of their philanthropies. I found myself to be especially interested in one of the sorority's philanthropies, and it's definitely something that I would really enjoy being involved with.

This morning I received my invites back and I will be going back to my top three choices tonight for Sisterhood night. I was excited because I received invitations from the three groups where I enjoyed myself the most and ultimately felt the most comfortable.

If there's anything you think I left out, let me know; otherwise, I'll keep updating

we do sisterhood night at my school. it's a night where each of the sororities gives the pnms a closer look at their sisterhood. some chapters do skits, others do slideshows or videos, or play games. I think it's kind of a "no frills" thing. Instead of having a "theme night" or really elaborate "skit night", we choose our own activity and don't spend alot of moneyon decorations. we also tell sisterhood stories on that night (we call them hallmark moments). It gives us a chance to get to know the pnm's better and express who we are as a sisterhood. does that make sense? it may vary dramatically from school to school, but that's how we do it here

I'm glad to hear that you're having fun! My little sister is going through recruitment at Richmond, too! She just called and everything seems to be going well!

I'll post more info tomorrow!
