I have no idea what school it is, and I hope you are a Theta. I'd be absolutely thrilled to call you my sister.

Do NOT tell me. It's a safe bet that everyone else reading your story is thinking what I just wrote. I'm just going to live in my world, where Taylor is Theta and you're flying a kite, watering your pansies, and looking for those twin stars every night in the sky.

I cried. That was such a beautiful story. I think so many PNMs, NMs, and initiated sisters can relate. I want to read it to my chapter because I'm in the middle of recruitment right now and this is what makes it all worth it. The realization that though recruitment is flawed and hard and sometimes painful, it is so worth it. I can't wait to meet my new sisters. only 8 more days.

Rare is the person who has the perfect recruitment, yet the vast majority of us ended up very happy in our GLOs.

Great story!

Carnation, please remember to bump this one next August!!!

Somehow I missed this story when it was originally posted. This is an awesome rush story, and a reminder that, yes, you can be totally happy in your second choice, and even in a chapter that you ranked among your bottom choices after round 1. And heavy cuts after any given round aren't the end of the world.

This. This. This resonates with me so very much.

Carnation - thank you for bumping! What is particularly funny is that, having gone back through some old threads, I've discovered that there are two other women who posted recruitment threads on here LIVE from my school the year I went through. In fact, one wound up being in my pledge class! So fascinating to read about two other women going through that very same year, especially to read the live thoughts of someone from my NMC as she went through!
