No worries. I can just retype. I think it went something along these lines:
I hate that the cost of convention is so high, and it is obviously cost prohibitive for many of our members. I know that there are many individuals who really want to attend, but outside of being a voting delegates (i.e. have their costs covered by the Fraternity) it just isn't feasible. I do have to trust, however, that those in the position to plan these events have weighed the decision heavily and that there is sound reasoning for choosing the locations they do and pricing convention the way it is.

My original reply too Blondie's post was that if I wasnt a delegate I wouldnt be able to go this year due to cost.
The oldest son is in college. I dont know what my leadership role will be in two years but hopefully I'll be able to make it to the next one. Money may be tight then too because the daughter will enter college fall 2014 (and hopefully recruitment!!) and the oldest is planning on entering veterinary school fall 2014.

Convention registration maxed out and closed a day ahead of schedule. Hot times in the Old Pueblo ahead. So looking forward to seeing TP24 and B93, along with a host of others. And I don't care how busy you are, we are doing the Lazy River. No arguing.

...and... a truly AzTheta moment occurred this am. I went to the airport to pick up my College District Director.
24 hours early.

Sounds like something I would do when overworked.

My college chapter got the Bronze Kite Award and my alumnae chapter won the Black & Gold Award (big deal since this was our first Convention being represented).
I was happy to have met several Thetas from here at GC finally!
