Frostburg State University - MD
Good Idea, but the Frostburg list needs to be changed a bit.
Phi Sig Sig and Phi Mu are no longer at the school. They haven't been on for at least 10 years I think. Kappa Tau Epsilon, Gamma Sigma Chi, and Alpha Gamma (School Recognized) particpate in recruitment.
Informal Recruitment begins Feb 13.

I just now caught this. JU does not have DZ, ZTA, or AXiD on campus. We just have the other 4.

i think that irish pipes is listing any sorority that had a chapter at the school -that's why some sorority names seem like they are ghost written.
i like that any sorority that was at the school is listed, irish pipes.

Maybe someone's confusing Jacksonville U. in Florida and Jacksonville State U. in Alabama. JSU has AOII, ZTA, DZ, AZD, and Phi Mu.
ETA: oh, never mind, I see what she's doing! But I think that Georgia Tech doesn't have Chi O, only a local called Chi Omega Tau, and that Oglethorpe's Chi O chapter still exists!

I knew DZ and ZTA used to be on campus, but I never knew about AXiD.

It is my understanding that MIT will be transitioning back to fall recruitment beginning this year. Spring 2007 formal recruitment kicks off on February 1st, and I understand that there will be a fall formal recruitment during Labor Day weekend.
In my day, rush was held in late August before classes started. After I graduated, NPC formal recruitment was shifted to January/February, and numbers fell. So rush is being shifted back to early fall.

As listed on the top of the first page, I am only listing NPC sororities. ETA: The Kappa Beta Gamma chapter at Loyola is being absorbed by KKG.
Also, as for Frostburg and others, as indicated at the top of the listing, the chapters in silver are dormant.
Also, this is still very much under construction so there are some states that haven't been touched yet.
Thank you for the input - I will make changes as warranted!

I don't show a chapter of Chi O at Georgia Tech.

Rumor has it that quota at Elon in NC was 37. As soon as I find out more firm numbers I'll let you know!

Chi Omega is still at WFU. Despite the issues their chapter went through they still have their charter and they are listed on the panhellenic website. Actually from what I hear from friends who go there the chapter is pretty big and has no problem with recruitment.

This thread is for next year. There is a stickied thread for this year's recruitment, but I don't think anyone has passed along UPS results.

irishpipes -
I completely stand in awe of you and the effort it took to do this. Hate to be picky, but here are some corrections:
University of Memphis - closed chapter of Alpha Chi Omega
Truman State University (Missouri) - closed chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau, not sure that they ever had a chapter of Alpha Phi
Henderson State University (Arkansas) - Delta Zeta was closed 3 years ago
Christian Brothers University (Tennessee) - closed chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha
Texas A&M - I believe they had a chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta
East Texas State University changed its name to Texas A&M -Commerce (you have them listed) - the closed Alpha Delta Pi chapter should be listed at TAMU-C.
Honestly, this whole task is very impressive.
