I remember in an interview she acknowledge knowing of Lil Kim but when the asked about Charlie Baltimore she was like "who?"

I also remember when she was married to Biggie there was a mention of a woman in the studio, hotel, or something with Biggie and Faith walked in and started beating the woman up without any questions. I assumed it was lil Kim but in another interview all Faith said was that person has no business being in there.

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Def Jam president Jay-Z, who is also part owner of the NBA's New Jersey Nets, has launched a contest for amateur performers to write and record a Nets theme song. The contest is a partnership with Sprite and New York radio station WQHT (Hot 97).

The winner will get a chance to meet him, perform the song live at a Nets home game this season and record it at a New York studio. The recorded version also will be played at Nets home games. Representatives from the Nets and Hot 97 will choose the best three songs, from which Jay-Z will select the winner.

Entries will be accepted through March 5 and must be recorded on a CD or tape, addressed to "Nets Song Contest," Nets Basketball, 390 Murray Hill Parkway, East Rutherford, NJ 07073. Entries can also be uploaded via Hot 97's Web site (http://www.hot97.com).

Bobbi Kristina, Bobby’s daughter with Whitney, reveals she enjoys making out, cheerleading, driving and boys, boys, boys. She’s only 13! Bobby, Jr. talked about his dislike of reading. This website is very popular among teens and young adults, but adults need to monitor their kids on this site. Does Bobby understand what’s going on? Will he make his kids stay off the site? Do the kids realize the attention they are bringing on themselves? Where’s Whitney? She’s off to Italy, and scheduled to perform during the Olympics. These kids are headed for trouble. Somebody better watch them.


Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx has some explaining to do. He has been at odds with Singer Mary J. Blige and her husband Kendu over some shady business dealings. A few weeks ago, Mary agreed to appear in Jamie’s NBC-TV special. She was promised a chance to perform her hit single, Be Without You, but the song was cut from the show. Then a few weeks later, after being snubbed, Mary agreed to participate with Jamie at a show featuring their duet Love Changes, a remake of the Mother’s Finest, Kashif & Meli’sa Morgan classic. When Mary showed up, she realized they wouldn’t be alone. Jamie had invited her ex, K-Ci Hailey of Jodeci, to sing along as well. Mary was in shock. Everyone knows how K-Ci abused and tortured her. Mary has turned her life around, and she is happily married. Why would Jamie do this? Mary didn’t bother to find out. She stormed out, and now her husband is ready to kick Jamie’s behind. First, he disrespected her on the TV show, now this. Spokespeople for Jamie say no harm was intended. What was he thinking, and why would he make an enemy of Mary? They are both topping the charts with their respective projects. Will they ever be friends or cordial again?


The battle of the bulge continues for Janet Jackson. She is working hard on losing the weight she gained, and now her record company is threatening her. If she doesn’t lose weight, they won’t release her new album. Why are they putting her under so much pressure? She has been known to lose and gain. With the help of boyfriend Jermaine Dupri and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, she is looking to return to the top of the charts. The past couple of years have been rough on Janet. The Superbowl scandal, a failed album, reports of a secret child and her family’s financial needs have been draining her. Why is her record company doing this to her? She is trying to lose weight, but now that she is older, it’s harder to lose the weight. She’s having a tough time, but Janet is determined to shed those pounds.


Now speaking of losing weight, Star Jones has lost over 150 pounds, and word has it, that might not be the only thing she loses. Sources say she may be losing her high profile job on the daytime talker The View. Producers are said to be interviewing actresses to replace her on the show. According to published reports, the bosses are not happy with Star and her stubborn and combative behavior. Her voice is needed on that show. Who would replace her? Would it be another African American woman? Has Star worn out her welcome? She is scheduled to be at the show’s Las Vegas promotion, but what will happen after that?


Here’s an update on Singer Angela Bofill who suffered a stroke a few weeks ago. The singer is still suffering from paralysis on her left side. She is undergoing speech therapy, but she’s able to write notes with her right hand. She is still unable to walk, but she has some feeling in her left leg. A benefit is taking place on March 11th in Englewood, New Jersey to help with her medical bills. Bofill didn’t have insurance.


Lenny Kravitz is ready to make his acting debut in the movie Iced. Monster’s Ball Producer Lee Daniels is in charge of the project. Kravitz is set to play a musician addicted to crack.


R Kelly’s brother Kerry is ready to talk. Kerry is releasing a DVD that will detail his brother’s fondness for lewd acts, domestic violence and kinky sex.


Bernie Mac is teaming up with Terrence Howard for the movie PDR: Philadelphia Department of Recreation. The movie is based on the life of Jim Ellison, a city worker who helped to turn a group of inner city kids into one of the best swim teams in the country during the 70’s.


PETA is coming after Beyonce! PETA, People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals, wants Beyonce to stop using fur in her Dereon fashion line. They want her stop promoting fur, and say they will harass her until she stops.


Get ready for the emancipation of Jonathan Plummer. The ex-husband of Author Terry McMillan discusses his life after Terry in the latest edition of Clik magazine. In one photo, Plummer is surrounded by naked men, and they are fanning and feeding him food.


More men are coming forward with tales of wild sex with former American Idol Contestant Clay Aiken. Aiken has always denied he was gay. He always portrayed himself as a goody goody, but has he been meeting men online for sexual encounters? His record company, RCA, is very upset about these revelations. They may delay releasing Clay’s next album until the scandal blows over. The men are talking about how they met Clay online, and then went on to have unprotected sex. Clay is denying the stories and says he is going to pray for those attacking him. He better start praying he can stay off the internet, or he is going to ruin his career. I’m sure former Idol Winner Ruben Studdard is somewhere shaking his head.


Is the big screen big enough for Samuel L. Jackson and Rapper 50 Cent? Apparently so, the two are slated to star in the movie Home of the Brave. Last year, Samuel blasted the rapper claiming he didn’t want to any movies with rappers turned actors. 50 Cent then went on to blast him saying just give me a chance to prove myself. The movie is about soldiers trying to adjust to normal life after returning home from the war in Iraq. The movie will also star Eva Mendes and Christina Ricci.


Dave Chappelle’s new movie, Block Party, opens in theatres on March 3rd. Tickets are now on sale for Dave Chappelle at the Tower Theatre on Monday, February 27th.


Actor Franklin Cover has died. Cover was best known as “Tom Willis,” the white neighbor on The Jeffersons. The late Actress Roxie Roker played his wife, Helen, on the show. Cover leaves behind a wife and two children. He was 77.


Vivica A. Fox and Singer Eric Benet? Hmmmm! The two were spotted kissing at an awards show in Atlanta? If they hook up, I hope Eric doesn’t cheat. Vivica looks like she will kick his butt.


So who is the new man in Halle Berry’s life? Gabriel Aubry is a 30 year-old Canadian model who is currently starring in ads for Versace, Hugo Boss and Gap Jeans. Is he using Halle to further his career? Spokespeople for Aubry say this talk is rubbish because Aubry has been a leading male model for years. Halle met her new man when she did an ad campaign for Versace. She’s in love, and the big question is, will Aubry be the man who gives her a baby? Halle turns 40 in August, and she says wants a baby. She is ready to be a mother.


Is Tyler Perry dating Tyra Banks? The two had a run in with the paparazzi, which left the director/playwright very shaken. Perry, who is gracing the cover of the latest issue of Essence magazine, says he is not used to all of this attention. He claims he and Tyra are just good friends. He is scheduled to appear on her talk show on the 23rd, the day before his new movie, Madea’s Family Reunion, opens in theatres. Tyler is also coming to Philly. He will be starring in Madea Goes To Jail, which kicks off March 15th at the Liacouras Center.

Kanye West has been tapped to produce the new theme song for Mission Impossible 3. MI-3, starring Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Lawrence Fishburne, opens in theaters May 5th.
