04/11 - Everybody's got a little dirty laundry, especially America's favorite housewives -- Susan Mayer, Lynette Scavo, Bree Van De Kamp and Gabrielle Solis -- who have the whole country talking about the dark and delicious secrets of Wisteria Lane. An all-new hour-long special, "Desperate Housewives: Sorting Out the Dirty Laundry" (w.t.), will bring new viewers up to speed on the biggest moments of the season while giving die-hard fans fresh insight into the many mysteries of TV's most famous street. Brenda Strong, who plays Mary Alice Young, the woman whose suicide set all of the events of Wisteria Lane in motion, will narrate the special. The hour will recap each housewife's story to date, and look back at the central mysteries that have kept viewers guessing: Why did Mary Alice kill herself? Who's buried in the toy chest that Paul Young dug up from the bottom of his pool? And who is Mike Delfino, and what is his real agenda in moving to Wisteria Lane? The special will also preview the compelling season finale of "Desperate Housewives," which promises to answer many of viewers' most burning questions.

Mary Alice mentioned that Gabrielle would be pregnant w/in a week. She also mentioned Carlos had been tampering w/ her birth control for months...about the same amount of time she HASN'T been seeing John.

I bet Carlos is shooting blanks.

Man you are some conspiracy theorists. I am not good at that. I was convinced the gay one was going to be Lynette's husband. Remember how he said he had done some things in the past that would really hurt her? I have been stuck on that quote since. It was the episode when his father came.

Alfre Woodard is joining the cast of "Desperate Houswives" as one of the newest denizens of Wisteria Lane, the first black woman to be a regular cast member.

"It's great to be breaking the color barrier, but we're all such fans of her," says co-executive producer Kevin Murphy. "She's one of the best actresses of her generation and to have her on the show is an incredible honor."

"Desperate" sources say Woodard will play a deeply religious, overbearing single mother who moves to Wisteria Lane after her son gets involved in an bad situation with a girl in their old neighborhood.

"Like all the rest of our woman," says Murphy, "there's going to be much more to her than initially meets the eye."

Woodard has a personal story very much like the some of the other, older female stars on "Desperate."

Yea, but not nearly as scandalous or even close to the level she's on. Its because of women like her that guys don't trust women and usually play them and/or use them.

Thats why the average looking girls are usually the ones with boyfriends and arent complaining about them while the hot ones are always complaining about jerks/asses and men in general. If ugly or fat chicks complain....it's because no one wants them but another fat/ugly person.

Maybe Tom Scavo (Matt from Melrose Place) was also bonking Maisey, the arrested bordello woman?? You never know?! Or maybe involved with dirty business dealings like Carlos? I am trying to use my imagination here?

I wonder when Rex van de Kamp's health will start to be adversely affected? (remember how the crazy Bree-obsessed pharmacist is giving him something other than his proper meds?) Hmmmmm.......

I am starting to think that MaryAlice/Angela was a few french fries short of a Happy Meal, and that she snatched baby Zack and claimed him as her own. Remember how Paul said that Mary Alice wasn't "well" sometimes? Even though I thought he was just trying to lie and cover his own skin, I think it may be partially true. And maybe MaryAlice/Angela had some weird mental issues and suicidal tendencies to begin with, and in the end, killed herself? I do like the theory of Mike Delfino potentially being Zach's father.

This show has too much going on....I am going nuts with impatience!

See, my thought was that Tom has a whole other family somewhere. Like another wife and everything! I just got that feeling after his father visited and Lynette made that threat to him that if he ever did anything to her like his father did to his wife then she'd leave him.

He just had this look on his face that said, "PLEASE don't figure this out!"
