For me, Even though i have been always proud to be a TKE, and never regret my choice, even know the way long beach state is heading. I would have been either a Delta Chi, because they are greatly involved with the campus, or a Sigma Pi, because some of my good friends went that house

No where, because I went through rush before Tri Delta arrived and did not receive a bid. I was meant to be a Tri Delta.

I would not have pledged anywhere had KD not been at school. I only went through rush so I could move out of my folk's house a week early. I had planned to go through the first day parties, drop out and go to the beach every day. The first house I went to was KD. When I left I thought they were really nice, but I was sure that every other house would come off the same. At the end of the day, I only liked KD. Had then decided to stay in rush until KD dropped me (I knew I would be dropped as I had no self confidence, and was very unpopular in HS, so why would anyone want me now). To my surprise I was still in rush for Preference with KD and another house. The other house was OK, but I did not have the love for it I had for KD. When I opened up my bid the next morning, I was probably the loudest wildest person in the room. I have always loved KD, am the president of my AA for the second year, and getting ready to leave for convention next week where I will be co-leading one of the break out sessions!

i'm new but i'll jump in..
on campus - if i hadn't gone sigma k i would have wanted to go kappa.
actually when i rushed i had the hardest time deciding between my two prefs.. i really loved kappa and her girls but i felt like i would fit in better with sigma kappa. i ended up putting kappa as #1 but on my way home i prayed that God would put me in the sorority that i belonged, and the next day sigma kappa's bid was in my envelope. i do sometimes wonder what if kappa had extended a bid to me, but i have grown so much and met so many wonderful friends that i know sk was the true place for me.
off campus - knowing more of the greek system now, off the top of my head i'd have liked to check out chi O, phi mu, zeta.

Thank goodness my school has Phi Mu... but, it was a close tie between Phi Mu and AGD, that is until Pref Night. I went to the AGD house first, and then Phi Mu. As soon as I walked out of the Phi Mu house, I had a huge smile on my face b/c I knew I was about to make one of the best decisions of my life. (we have deferred recruitment, and I REALLY liked AGD and Phi Mu but not so much the other chapters, so it was a difficult decision for me, but I know I made the right one!!!)

I would have pledged Me Phi Me. I had no interests WHATSOEVER in the other organizations. I would have just waited to pursue a grad chapter. If it's in your heart, it's in your heart.

At Southeast probably Tri-Delta.
I was days away from going to Ole Miss though, and probably would have gone Tri-Delta, Phi Mu, or Kappa.

I don't know enough about chapters at other campuses, but if I had not been a Gamma Phi Beta at Minnesota, I am fairly sure I would have joined Alpha Chi Omega- their chapter is lovely, too.

One of my classmates is an AXO from the U and she said she would be a Gamma Phi if she wasn't an Alpha Chi!

I would have joined Phi Mu if we had it at Clemson. My real life sister is a Phi Mu. When it comes to chapters on campus, if I hadn't joined KD, I would have picked Alpha Chi Omega.

If I weren't too shy to have gone through Panhellenic Rush, I probably would have gone with AGD. (Which isn't to say that I wouldn't be in OPA as well! One of the ladies of our chapter is an AGD.)
I don't know enough about the personalities of sororities that we don't have on our campus to be able to judge which of them I might have gone with.
