Jason seemed more joyous and free than I've ever seen him when he sang his swan song. I think he's happy now.

In fairness to Syesha, I don't think that her comments were very clearly planned out. I seriously doubt that she actually believes that there's some comparison to her struggle and the Civil Rights Movement. She just saw a thread of a connection metaphorically and it was meaningful to her on both levels.

And to Bama...I strongly disagree that she was trying to get sympathy by expressing her feelings about the song she sang. You'll believe what you will though.

L.A. and Pretty-

I would ignore all comments by Bama. He has made ridiculous comments all over these boards that clearly demonstrate his ignorance.

I'm not much of an AI fan, but I get to watch occasionally. I'm happy with last night's results (Jason really deserved to go based on Tuesday's performance), but I'm honestly not much of a fan of anyone.

Clearly, David A. had the best performance Tuesday night (IMO), but I can't really see him being hugely successful on his own. David Cook appears to have too small of a niche (but then again, I've not seen much of the season). Syesha is good, but I think she and David A. are in the same boat - once the show is over, no one will really remember much about them... even if one of them wins.

I'm beginning to wonder whether AI has run its course.

In other news, Tampa Bay is going Syesha crazy! They have TV performances and all these public appearings scheduled tomorrow. They are trying to get as many people as possible to come out to them.

I am not a big Syesha fan at all, I think she should have gone home weeks ago, but apparently I am the only one in the Bay area who thinks so at the moment!

I'm in the bay area and I agree! Syesha is boring and she sounds like every other female AI finalist.
I'm still depressed that Jason is gone lol...I guess it was kinda his time because he wasn't as strong as the other competitors, but he does have a beautiful voice I would definitely enjoy music that he put out way more than music of the other three

Syesha has an amazing vocal instrument with a great rang, her skill in that regards was definitely the best female out of the bunch. HOWEVER, her voice just does not sound original. It sounds very typical, which leads little to entertainment values.

Me too. Too much hype about the battle of the David's, I guess.

Hopefully this means he stops picking songs like he is a 40/50 year old man, and starts singing songs for a 17 year old boy. I am very excited for producer and judges choice so there is a little variety in his line up. I find it interesting that he is now the vote for the worst contestant, because yes, he deserves it, but he does not need the help, lol.

No such luck. Rumor has it one of his songs is Billy Joel's "And So It Goes". Every 17 year old child should sing a song about the heartbreak of ending a marriage, especially D'Arch.
