Hi sisters, I haven't been posting a lot lately because of some not so fun events in my life. I went to the Dr a couple of weeks ago because I have been passing out on occassion and have had some strange chest pains. They are still completely at a loss as to what is going on in my body. I have had so many blood tests that I am sure I have mch blood left. My Blood pressure will fluxuate from super super low to extremely high in a matter if minutes while it is being monitored. I am going to see a specialist on Friday and hopefully he will have some insight. I am hoping that this is all related to the stress in my life but I am keeping an open mind. Please send good thoughts my way...I could use them.

I don't want to talk about the specific issue (partially because I don't exactly know what's going on...), but my friend Ian and his family really need prayers right now.

Not a prayer request, but a question: Do any of y'all keep a prayer journal or miracle book or such? This came up in conversation recently.

I have tried it before but I am very inconsistent with keeping it up so I gave it up. I love the idea of it, though!

It's been a rough week at my house. Without saying too much, I would like to ask for your prayers for my family, who have been hit hard with unexpected burdens. Life as it has been for the past 9 months or so, is about to change drastically for my dad, mom and me.
If you want more details you can PM or email me, but I'd rather not talk publicly about it....

I have an unusual prayer request ... My husband and I just bought our "dream house" in May. At the time that we bought it, we weren't even thinking about having children for at least three years. Well, two weeks after we closed, we found out that I was pregnant. Anyway, to make a really long story short, my priorities have completely changed and I don't care about having this big house anymore, and we're thinking about selling it and buying a smaller house so I can stay at home, or at least just work part time after the baby is born. So, what I'm doing is just praying for God's will to be done in this situation and I just need your prayers too so that I will know His answer when I get it.

I could also use some good thoughts.

My brother was shipped out Saturday at 3am. He is in Fort Dix right now doing additional training. In December he will be shipped out to Kuwait. The problem is that his mission might change and he might be shipped to Iraq.

I am trying to keep it together. The only thing keeping me somewhat sane right now is the fact that he is still in the United States and safe. I am absolutely and utterly terrified that his mission will be changed and he will be shipped to Iraq. I am terrified that he might not make it home.

The last thing I said to him was "be safe, come home, I love you".

I need to end this, I'm crying again.

Without getting into too much detail, one of chapters really needs everyone's positive thoughts. I'm so emotionally drained right now with everything that just happened over the last 3 hours that I honestly think that this was my ultimate lowest moment as an Alpha Delta Pi. Gosh I wish I could vent this right now because I really would love to get this off my chest but this isnt the appropriate forum. PM for details...the support would be great.

Please pray for my little cocker spaniel, Reagan. She is spending the night in the Animal Emergency Center tonight. She's very sick and they don't know what is wrong with her yet. She's only 2 1/2 years old, and she's my baby. I will just die if something happens to her.
