WIIT some folks are sooooo concerned with Alpha Kappa Alpha?
WIIT I'm soooo flattered?
WIIT folks have nothing more to do with their time but show concern about all things AKA?
WIIT I think they want us to respond negatively?
WIIT it won't happen?
WIIT I hope they keep trying?
WIIT it only makes Alpha Kappa Alpha look that much better?
WIIT they THINK they know?
WIIT they have no idea?

Why is it that I have had more than a few experiences over the last month that make me think of this post?
Why is it that I just let them keep on talking about what they think they know?
Why is it I wonder if they ever stop to notice that I do not reciprocate?
Why is it there's a reason for that?
Why is it the only sorority that is on my mind is Allllpha Kappa Allllpha?
Why is AKA, in my heart, on my mind, all the time?

Why is it that because of my neoitis, I believe that anything that begins or ends at :08 must be right: telephone conversations, website posts, etc...

Why is it that I encountered my first perp today?
Why did she list on her Facebook that she is member of AKA from my school?
Why did my line sister politely ask her from which chapter she was initiated?
Why did she cuss my line sister out and say "im only 18 stupid of course i'm not an AKA...i've had it on my page since middle school" and end with her explaination with "chill bruh"?


Why am i speechless (but definately pissed)?

Why Is It that I just got back from an interview?
Why Is It that one of the members of the panel was a soror?
Why Is It that we discovered that we were sorors at the end of the interview?
Why Is It that she said to me that she thought I was a soror?
Why Is It that when I asked her why, she said it is in the way that I carry myself?
Why Is It sorors know what a compliment that is?

Why Is It that at the same interview, I was sharing a story about a visit to New York?
Why Is It that during that visit, I by chance met four other sorors, including Soror Phylicia Rashad?
Why Is It that it thrills me every time to tell that story?
Why Is It that only sorors will know what I am talking about?

WIIT I started looking for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Barbie when it was first announced this time last year?

WIIT I was waaaay too early because it was under wraps until Boule?

WIIT I couldn't go to Boule? Well, I know the answer to that one. I moved to another state last summer & couldn't do both .

WIIT I got all caught up in getting settled & temporarily forgot my search?

WIIT that by the time I resumed my search, they were sold out EVERYWHERE?!

WIIT I just bought one on ebay for 3x the original price because it's not going to be restocked & I really wanted it?
