Pizza sounds good to me. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to food.

Sounds good to me. It's the company that's important!

I don't really know that much about how different Chicago food is supposed to be than other's.

I did try Cincy chili and didn't like it

I'm game for whatever food (except seafood because I have bad experiences) at whatever price, I'm saving them tips for Chicago!

My vote is for Chicago style pizza at either Uno's or Gino's East. Their pizza is like a pie crust dough filled with the toppings. It's wonderful!

I found out what year I'm representing in the fashion show!! 1974....not telling what you guys what I'm wearing...it'll be a surprise, heehee....I was surprised that I got that year myself, since I'm relatively small. I just thought that I'd be like 1914 or something like that, since people were smaller then, and there'd be more tiny outfits available. Oh well, there might be some last minute changes anyway

I wish I could have been part of the fashion show... but I'm too big.

Now if they got me modeling a traditional Hawaiian holoku/muumuu like we wear for Initiation (to represent 1992--the year of our chartering) then that's something else.

My assistant Beth (another Alpha Gam) is in the fashion show too - I'd do it, but I'd be right there with Teenee - a bit too big.

How formal are you all getting for the two dinners? I was thinking of bringing one cocktail type dress and one long dress (both black, of course).

Those of us in the fashion show aren't going to be at the Saturday dinner, so I only need one dress. I'm going for long. I have a dress that actually has red, yellow (it's more wheat coloured than buff) and green print on it that is quite nice, so I might bring that one. I have a few other dresses I'm also looking at .

I'm recycling two formal dresses for Centennial Gala and Feast of Roses. They're both black and tea length, but one's plain and the other one has a beaded and sequin design. I had a long black one that I wanted to wear, but I doubt it'll fit in time.

I'm still looking for a new white muumuu for Initiation/Honors of Epsilon Pi.

Cool 30 DAYS!!

Hope it's cooler than it is in Atlanta right now!! It's 83 in my house!

I have a new long black dress with a shiny jacket. Thinking of maybe wearing the dress itself the 1st night and with the jacket the last night...but then if I find another dress

How many pieces of luggage are y'all taking?

I'm bringing one large suitcase, a hanging bag plus (sigh) my HUGE Alpha Gam bag. You know a long-term CA b/c her shoulder slumps from carrying around all of those binders!

As for the clothes... great idea on a dress with a jacket one night and without (or maybe a DIFFERENT jacket???).

Already bought my white caftan/ tent to wear at the EP Banquet. Still in horror over the wearing of pantyhose in July but will suck it up.

BTW My chapter thought they were being so sneaky about this, but forgot that I am the second signer on all checks - keep your eyes open when Honors of EP are announced... TWO people from my chapter will be coming home with new jewelry.

Question: How formal is the EP/Ritual thing? This would depend on what dress I'm going to bring. I don't have anything white, but if it isn't too formal, I'd like to wear this :http://www.bananarepublic.com/browse...ategory=600602 (with a nice cardigan or wrap over my shoulders, of course). If it is very, very formal, then I'm going to wear a pastel dress.

Thanks!

If you do get the dress (very cute, btw), you'll need a cardigan. Or a light floaty jacket/ top.

Mine's a white, ankle length tank dress with an eyelet lace jacket that goes over it.

Still in horror over wearing white shoes.

Do you think alumnae can get away with wearing non-white (as in pastel) shoes with white dresses? If not, then I guess I'll be wearing pastel. I just don't want to stand out too much if everyone else is wearing white.
