As much as I enjoyed having Rich Rodriguez as the UM coach, for obvious reasons as an OSU fan, he never really fit in. Michigan has a storied and proud athletic tradition, and he brought it down. I hope that that next guy (sorry Dee, sounds like it won't be Harbaugh according to the Detroit Free Press) will have the class that is necessary to bring the program back to where it belongs. Now, mind you, not enough to beat OSU, but anyone else, OK.

I never thought Rich Rod was a good fit from the time they announced him. I'm very bummed that it will probably not be Harbaugh I don't blame him if he'd rather take an NFL coaching job. I just hope it's someone better than Rich Rod...

OK, now the AD at Michigan is saying that he has not yet made a decision regarding Rich. Right.

And regardless of how it turns out for the OSU football team tonight, OSU has a fabulous marching band, TBDBITL. I hope we get to see Script Ohio.

Well, I haven't had a lot to say during this football season. I just hope we have a coaching staff by the time spring drills come around.

Such a great game tonight! Kudos to BOTH teams, they gave it their all. Arkansas has an amazing QB and offensive line.

It was a great game, and so hard to go to sleep afterward! I let my 3rd grade son watch the game (he fell asleep on the couch during halftime). besides freaking out during the first touchdown, he commented that the Arkansas women's cheerleader outfits made their boobs look wierd- he didn't like the one shoulder design. Oh my, I guess this is what I have to look forward to...

God, that last minute killed me.

Congratulations, OSU. You definitely have an amazing defense, and knew exactly what we were doing (especially during the first half).

So Rich Rod is officially out at Meesheegan.

Top contenders include:

Harbaugh, HC at Stanford (he's looking at a possible 6 million/year at SF 49ers and he doesnt have to move, so maybe not)

Les Myles, HC at LSU and former Michigan man who has an out in his contract with LSU if Michigan comes a-calling (what say ye sigmaceli and AOII Angel?)

Brady Hoke (no sure if I got that right), HC at SDSU, also a former Michigan man who supposedly considers Michigan HC to be a dream job.

Talking heads are disagreeing as to what type of coach/offense would work best to get Michigan back to its glory days.

Bottom line, whoever comes in has to be able to recruit in the midwest and beat OSU, PSU, MSU, and not so much anymore, ND for the top recruits. They have not been able to do much of that lately.

And Forever Roses, I wasn't able to go to sleep for a couple of hours after the game last night-too wound up, and with a stomachache to boot!

I would hope they look at Les Miles. He fits in much better with the Big 10 than he does the SEC. And, he is originally from Northern Ohio, so he knows what Michigan alums want.

Well, there was a big firestorm about this when they took Rich Rod. Les SWORE that he had no intention of leaving LSU for Michigan since he had just won the National Championship with the Tigers. The shine has worn off the relationship since then between Les and a lot of LSU fans. I still love Les and his grass eating ways, but I know there would be a lot of LSU fans who would love to see him go (we have some fickle folks who boo'd through half the season when we were 7-0! Go figure!) Anyway, he's a great coach...I wouldn't blame them for approaching him, and after this year, I wouldn't blame him for seriously thinking about it. Don't look for him to comment before the Cotton Bowl, though. Geaux Tigers!!! Can't wait for Friday!!!

I heard on the radio today that he is meeting with Michigan tomorrow This article says "possibly as soon as Tuesday", but the radio report I heard specifically said Tuesday.

This article says this week:
