It looks like the most current edition they have is the April issue.

I haven't gotten mine yet either. I just got the most recent Pan Pipes in the last couple of weeks or so, though. I like getting it in the mail, haha.

I also got a new letter shirt recently, from the local store that's licensed to do them. I had it done in UNA's colors so I can wear it to games if I get to go. I was hoping to get to go to Jacksonville for the UNA-JSU game and see some of the Theta Beta ladies, but now I don't think I'm going to be able to.

(That's the instagram version I posted, lol.)

I have often thought about doing something similar. I still wear letters on occasion.

I met some sisters at my grad school. They're part of the local alumnae chapter, so I'm thinking about meeting some more women within that chapter and talking about affiliation.

Definitely want to wait until next semester at least, though. It's weird getting used to a new city, new school, new routine. Adding one more new thing on top of it would be difficult for me.

I'm totally going to be that lady, who in thirty years will still be wearing letters and stuff. No regrets about it, either. I've always thought it's awesome that D9-ers do it so unapologetically. There's a regular guest at work who's a Kappa Alpha Psi alum and he's always wearing a shirt or hat that's representing the fraternity, and he's getting on in years but I think it's the coolest thing.

clarinette, where are you in grad school at?

While I have a kind of love for my collegiate chapter that cannot be replaced, my SAI experience has truly been made whole through my involvement in the alumnae chapter. I would not trade those ladies for anything in the world! They have provided me constant stability and friendship since I finished college. The alumnae chapter has confirmed that SAI is what I always dreamed it could be.

Snaps for Raleigh-Durham Alumnae!

Hopefully one of these days we'll finally get an Alumnae chapter (or two) in my home province. There's some interest, and have been some inquiries made to NH about how to go about it.

Thanks! We are pretty proud! Especially since 2013 was our first full year as a chartered chapter. As our chapter slogan points out, "We do stuff!".

I am a recent alumnae sister, and I covered at the last minute for someone during tonight's ritual as 7 girls became MITs for the Kappa Psi chapter at Fresno State (whose football team just beat Boise State this weekend *brag*).

This is huge for us. I hope and pray they all go through because that would be highly symbolic, and we could finally qualify for a lottery to place our booth in the booth row at the University Student Union... and we'd get money, too! Campus recognition would be fantastic.

When I was active, at one point there were just three of us. Two were about to graduate, and so the day our PO came for an emergency visit (I thought that was going to be the "plug pull" news), we suddenly gained 4 MITs in late March. Because they were previously in Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, they knew how the exam worked. Did I mention I was their VPM?

Ever since then, we have had an initiation every semester, and I have cried at every single one of them.

So I'm finding comfort in knowing that the little voice inside my head was right. "Anne, you can sleep. One day when you graduate the chapter is going to grow and it will continue to grow."

We are the little chapter that could! GROW US!

My collegiate chapter's treasurer this year is our one sister who is also an initiate of Tau Beta Sigma. I have this feeling she's going to do a great job. I would actually love to see more dual membership between the two chapters among the ladies, but I also know just enough about how our TBS chapter works to know that if it were to happen, it would be more likely in spring just because between marching band and TBS obligations, most of them don't have a lot of extra time. All of the ladies in that chapter would also make fine additions to SAI as well, if they so desired.

Congrats to Kappa Psi on 7 MITs!

Thank you. It's so comforting to know that the chapter is okay now. I would lose sleep over this just a few years ago. It would even affect my mood!

Our MITs had their musicale tonight and they were VERY impressive.

So proud of them all and I am amazed that we still have all 7.

Hoping I can start an alumnae chapter with 14 other lovely ladies in my area... we've been talking about it for years!
