The team who deserved to win, did. I'm SO glad.

I thought this season was one of the best in recent time. In past seasons I only had maybe one or two teams I hoped would win, but this season there were so many good teams out there.
I liked this ending because I would have loved for either team (and not Ron and Kelly) to win. I love Amber, but if they won yet another million, I wouldn't put it past the viewers to call foul on CBS.
I'll be watching them get married on the 24th!
I'd add a few more minutes to the original 15 if I were you.

Angels? Or CBS making the finish a close one? There is no doubt that the plane went back to the gate because of CBS camera crews, probably last minute phone calls were made all through the American system stopping that plane.
CBS might not pick the winner, but they sure do manipulate the game. Hence, the police stops, flat tires, all at the most key moments of the game.......

A very satisfying ending this time, unlike last. Uchenna and Joyce totally deserved it.

you can't manipulate a flat tire.
I'm thrilled with the outcome. I'm so glad Uchenna and Joyce won. They truly played with spirit though the whole game, despite being accused of cheating at the end! They weren't. Begging isn't cheating. It says no where in AR's rules that you can't beg. How else do they expect you to earn cash quick?
anyways. I'm glad it was them and now they can go off and quietly try to have a baby or adopt one. I hope they go the adoption route and go back to that orphange in South Africa to find a child!

At least not without seriously endagering people in the car. I doubt anyone at CBS is that stupid -- I'm sure their lawyers will not let them be that stupid.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear J&U get accused of cheating. Ron and Kelly were, for asking the man at the hotel gate not to call a taxi for Romber.
As for the results:
YEA!!!!!!!!

I am SO GLAD Uchenna and Joyce won. They were the only team left that I actually liked.
I'm so glad I'll never have to hear or see Rombuhhhh again and I'm not going to miss RKelly's pissy arguing.

From CNN.com....
Quote:
Uchenna, an energy broker who once worked for Enron, and Joyce, a sales manager who once worked for WorldCom, plan to use their earnings for "bills, bills, bills" and to take their family on their own amazing trip. The Agus, who've tried unsuccessfully to have a child in the past, also said they would use their $1 million prize toward a baby.
"My doctors offered us a free round of in vitro (fertilization)," said Joyce. "So after all this is over, if it doesn't work out, we have the money. We can adopt."

Now seeing that Uchenna and Joyce worked for 2 disaster companies, I am happy that they won.
Thought #1:
But...I wish TAR would "do away" with this practice of non-elimination rounds, where they take away your money. I really don't like the idea of North Americans "begging" for money, and relying on the kindness/generosity of strangers. We have so MUCH to be thankful for (clean water, shelter, safety more or less). I just think it's a bit sleazy to put the contestants who come from plenty, in that position. If the show HAS to confiscate their money, then set them up where they have to wash dishes or something and EARN the money back.
</rant>
Thought #2:
Since we just finished TAR #7, #8 is sure to follow. Maybe when they've done 11, they'll an ALL-STARS (a la Survivor) and have all the victors come back to compete against each other? How cool would THAT be?

It's Amazing that they started the final round with no money, then had a flat tire, and still won.
They also need to thank the airline pilot who let them on after the door was closed - Amazing luck.
And coming soon, on CBS, the televised marriage of Rob and Amber. Guest list is sure to include their enemies from Survivor and TAR, so maybe there will be some fireworks.
Of course, I think most of these contestants are now reality show whores, who will go anywhere and do anything for a few more minutes on camera.
