I was told I should come introduce myself here, since I kinda qualify as an Alpha Phi now.
Chapter: Georgia Tech Colony!! We're going to be Iota Mu.
Year joined: 2007 (I joked that I was the token old pledge, since I graduated soon after)
Status: Kinda-Alumna (will AI at chapter induction next spring)
Alum clubs in past or present: I'll definitely be a part of the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter!
Why I chose Alpha Phi: I chose Coyote because I felt at home the second I walked into the room with them...and Coyote chose Alpha Phi because we instantly felt at home with you!
Our collegiate Coyote girls were pinned as Alpha Phi new members tonight. It was so great to meet some of y'all there!

Hiii sisters! I guess I'm supposed to do an intro
Chapter: Theta Iota
School: James Madison University
Year joined: Fall '06
Status: Active
Current offices: I'm the current Director of Member Development. I'm also on the recruitment team!
Why I chose Alpha Phi: I knew from round 1 during recruitment that Alpha Phi was the place for me. I felt an immediate connection with everyone I met. It was an easy choice for me

Just out of curiosity, who on the list will be attending Convention this summer in Arizona? I have my trip all booked! Very excited about it! Anyone else?

I'm not going, but I'll be at our recruitment training later in the month.
You should go to our regional conference next year since your the new AC president. They have a track for training at it, and Tracy our new AMC is WONDERFUL!!!

I just finished my "retro" recruitment thread last week, and I wanted to say hello in this forum!
Chapter: Delta
School: Cornell
Year: 2005
Status: Alumna (only
Current Offices: none
Past/collegiate offices: Sunshine Chair, Director FMR, Director MAP (can you tell I LOOOOVE recruitment?!), Membership Development Committee
Alum Clubs past/Present: I plan on joining when I am settled in one area of the country (or world for that matter--I'm actually moving overseas next week!), wherever that may be!
Why I chose Alpha Phi: I felt like each sister I met during recruitment really brought something to the table and contributed to the chapter in meaningful ways. I loved that everyone was comfortable genuinely being who they really are and being appreciated, valued, and loved for it!
Also, if anyone's interested in the rush thread I just finished, this is the link:

Why I chose Alpha Phi: everyone I met was absolutely amazing. So real and genuine. I did informal recruitment and fell in love with all the girls, especially the girl in charge of it all...who then became my big sister :-)
