I can't believe it's over I cried when Harry and Charlotte saw their baby. I cried when Miranda gave Mary a bath. I cried when Smith told Samantha that he loved her. It was the most emotional episode.

Yes, it was. I was almost in tears before it even started because of the two fairwell specials HBO showed immediately before it. I cried through this whole thing. Boyfriend came over almost an hour later and my eyes were still a little teary. Of course, he teased me about it. Some men just don't get it.

The part that really made me cry the most was Harry's reaction to the couple from Charlotte. I loved that he was so upset and wanted that baby as much as Charlotte did. And, I cried when Steve was trying to be strong for his mother. He cared about her so much. I still think Steve is sooooo cute.

Even though the final episode was really predictable, I absolutely loved it. One of my girlfriends had a bet going on that Big's name would be Michael. I said Stanley or Jonathan, so I was close.

I just thought the last episode was so good. I thought that all 4 had grown in so many ways. I am really going to miss this show.

They were talking about the final episode on The View yesterday, and Joy Behar said that at least one of them, probably Carrie, should have been left single for the series finale. She said that the show should have ended the way that it started and by having all of them pair up, it was in some way indicating that you really can't be single and fabulous.

Any thoughts, Ladies?

I completely agree with Joy's take on it. It kinda of ended like a woman needed to be connected to traditional expectations in order to be happy i.e. Miranda being married with a child, Sam finally finding love (like she couldnt be happy having sex!?), Carrie got with big, and Charlotte is adopting an Asian kid (another discussion)! I think the ladies are still fab although I was disappointed with the message the final eposides sent.

Did we even know that Big's name was "John"? Or did we just forget?

Great Show....

I'm going to go with we didn't know, I know that I didn't know. I know that I don't recall his name being mentioned when he first came on the show......anyone else recall if it was mentioned.

ASPEN, Colo. - Don't expect a "Sex and the City" movie, said the TV series' executive producer, Michael Patrick King.

"Nothing we did in the series was altered to save something for the movie," King said at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.

"This is exactly the way we wanted to end the series," he said Friday. "We're proud of what we did."

The HBO series, which aired its last new episode Feb. 22, will live on in syndication. That pleases star Sarah Jessica Parker (news), even if the episodes are toned down for a broader audience.

"I am not sad about a larger audience," said Parker, who played columnist Carrie Bradshaw. "Part of me is happy that people who could not afford HBO" will now have the opportunity to meet the four women whose love lives were chronicled on the show.

"We joke there will be no Samantha" after the censors have their way, writer Cindy Chupak said of the free-spirited character played by Kim Cattrall (news).

Parker, King, Chupak and the show's five other writers appeared at the comedy festival, which ended Sunday.

The writers, all women, described how their real-life experiences made their way into the scripts. In the sanctity of the writers' room, they discussed their dates and relationships.

"Very often that bleeds into story building," said writer Elisa Zuritsky.

Some of the writers said they share the characters' love of expensive shoes. Amy B. Harris acknowledged she has 50 to 75 pairs; Jenny Bicks' collection consists of about 30 pairs.

And Parker's shoe wardrobe? "I can't talk about it," she said with a laugh.
