How 'bout those Fightin' Texas Aggies??
kt, how would you feel about a little 7-1 A&M vs. 8-0 OU with an ESPN Gameday backdrop in College Station in a couple weekends?
Seriously, if we take care of business against CU and Baylor, we could conceivably be ranked in the top 15 by the time the Sooners come calling. That game would have all the makings of our epic 2000 battle. Hopefully this time the good guys will come out on top
I'm kinda surprised that noone else was as estatic about their team's performance this weekend as I am . I honestly like our chances against OU in Kyle Field. But we have a brutal home stretch to end the season. vs. OU, vs. Tech and at t.u.
Honestly, i think we're a year away from winning in Austin. I wouldn't be shocked if we split the OU and Tech games. But, if i had to choose, i'd be ok with a loss against OU as long as we beat the sand fleas.
We have a chance to end the season at 8-3. Which, after last season's meltdown, has me pretty damn excited.
KS 361 + 20 = amount of total yards that Reggie "The Real Deal" McNeal had against the Cowgirls

Let me translate,
"Ho hum, another bad year for the Bears. Even moreso because while we thought A&M was having a down year and we might have a chance against them at homecoming, we were wrong and they get a chance to see if they can win their 3rd homecoming game of the year against us. Even though playing at Floyd Casey should really be considered a home game for them."
Is that about right babe?

McNeal looked scary good -- I mean Heisman good against Oklahoma State. The head-scratcher is Utah, but it could just be that the team is finally settling down and buying into what Francione brings to the table.
That said, if A&M continues to do well, I won't be surpised if they upset OU. After that performance, I would actually favor them against Texas -- Texas is just a slightly more talented version of Okie State.
With the atmosphere y'all bring at College Station, Gameday would be crazy not to be at that game. The only potential thing to make that not happen would be if Gameday shows up in Stillwater for OU vs. OSU -- which I doubt because the A&M game is looking a lot scarier.
I don't mean to lessen A&M's performance the other night, but OSU was missing some key players on their defense and as any emerging team is, they're fairly shallow on the depth chart. Also, none of their victories to date were really all that impressive. They had a fair one against UCLA (but who has UCLA beaten?), they beat the snot out of Tulsa, SMU, Iowa State and Colorado -- all playing on the lowest levels of their respective conferences.
Bro, I'm excited for the A&M game. The way y'all celebrate the game is unlike anything anywhere. I think A&M is rising quickly to the top of the Big XII South and will start contending for championships again soon, if not this year.

You freakin Aggies. I was supposed to go to College Station this week on business and I couldn't get a hotel room for Friday night because of your crazy school and your crazy football team. What gives?
Luckily the trip got postponed.

aww, that hurts babe You know i root for y'all in every game except one. And that's big, cause i don't root for ITTech or the 'sips.
I seriously think this will be a much closer game then last years. Y'all always get up to play us in Waco.

This coming from a Husker fan? Yeah right, like Lincoln is sooo much easier to get around in during Husker games
But they are friendly. I'd like to think that us and NU are probably the two most welcoming and hospitable places to play in the Big XII. On the other had, you have the Red Roaches out in Lubbock and the 'sips in Austin. Both wrote the book on poor sportsmanship. And i don't care if i ever go to another game in Ames. Those people are probably the least football educated school in the Big XII. I'd rather get blown out in Lincoln then win again in Ames. At least the Husker fans at the game understand football and are nice to ya. The freakin 'Clowns have no idea what's going on and just cry to the refs for flags on every play.
That being said, lets take care of business this week and send those hippies from boulder crying in their bongs all the way back to Colorado.

Oh, that's cold.
BTW, Oklahoma gets rave reviews for it's treatment and respect for visiting fans and sportsmanship in Norman.

If anyone's going to stop OU this year, it'll be on November 6th.
Don't the aggies play Texas the next week?
Maybe OU will catch them looking ahead

Nope, Tech.
but we got those clowns at home too, so i don't think we'll be looking ahead. Then a week and a half till we head to Austin. And the fans right now are already looking forward to a 7-1 A&M and 8-0 OU matchup and a little redemption. You think OU was fired up last year to avenge 30-26? We've got about 73 more reasons to be up for this game.
But, who knows, my prayers could be answered and on saturday night the ground in lubbock could rip open and swallow both the Red Raiders and Longhorns, thereby ridding us forever of them.
Wouldn't that be great?

I actually like UT right now. I think OU has them to thank for now having the services of Peterson.
They're also an automatic quality win and a great place for OU players to have their signature games en route to a Heisman trophy.
