Sisters, Please keep David and I in your prayers. With Delta pulling out of DFW, we are on the road to an inevitable move. It will take us to Salt Lake City or Atlanta, both are far from our families. Please pray that finances will work out and that this move won't happen before the baby is born. But more importantly, Please pray that God's hand will be on this move for us and that we will find peace during this transition.

Sherra, remember that God's plan is perfect, no matter what. I do understand you wanting to stay near your family though, and I will pray that happens. Salt Lake City and Atlanta are so far away. Good luck with everything. Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Sisters, I'm stressed out with my new teaching job, but I'm also having a lot of fun. I'm not getting much sleep and that in turn is making me sick. I got a sub yesterday because I felt like throwing up all day long along with fever, cough, and sinus problems. Also, please pray for the Lord's guidance for me in a certain situation I am in that I really don't want to go into details about. If you want to PM me so you know what to pray for specifically, I'll be glad to answer, I just don't want it on the public message boards! Thanks, yall are the best.

I'll be praying for you all in the days and weeks ahead, hoping for the "right" solution (in God's plan) to come out of it for everyone!
I could use some good thoughts and prayers. I've called the school that I'm trying to get into for grad school to set up my interview with them (I have to be interviewed before they'll make a decision), and it looks like right now, I'll be driving up to their main campus on the 28th of this month for my interview (the person I talked to on the phone has to coordinate my schedule to meet with the department head/professor(s), so the date could still change). This is something that I REALLY want, so of course I'm super nervous about it already. Likely, if I was to get into the program, I'd start classes in January, so it's coming up quick!

Ladies I need your prayers right now. For awhile I've had really bad abdominal craps, its sent me to the ER, and I've gotten enough blood work done that I never want to see another doctor again! I just heard from my doctor today and it turns out I have an ovarian cyst the size of a golf ball and I might have endometrosis which could mean I might have trouble getting pregnant later on in life. The doctor wants to operate on me and we had originally discussed operating over christmas break so I wouldn't miss class this semester but it looks like she doesn't want to wait that long which means I wouldnt get my master's in June as planned. This is all so much to deal with on my already full plate that I'm very scared of what will happen. I'm going to talk to my parents tonight to weigh all my options and figure out what would be the best approach to the situation. If you could send any positive and healthy vibes my way it would be much appreciated.

OMG, I got a phone call this morning!! They want to interview me on Thursday... it's supposed to be like an hour long!!!! Supposedly I'm going to be meeting 3 different people for about 20 minutes each.
I'm soooooo super excited, but also VERY scared, because my longest interview was probably like 20 minutes or something!
Please pray that I don't blow the interview! Because that would be really bad if I did!

HB-- Keep your head up honey! Make the decision that is best for your body!! Grad school can always wait! And on a side note-- my old coworker's wife got pregnant and after she got pregnant they found out she had a cyst the size of a grapefruit on her ovary!! They removed the cyst, the ovary, and one fallopian tube--- and 7 months later she gave birth to a beauuuuuuuuutiful baby girl!! Miracles do happen!! So please be kind to your body!! You are strong and I know you can make it through this-- and remember we are here for you and we live for each other!

HB- I'm going to echo every sentiment that ADPiAkron stated. Grad school will still be there once you have taken care of you. Your health is what is most important!!!! Oh sweetie, you will definately be in my thoughts and prayers.
Sherra- I'm sure everything will work out for you and your husband. I'm praying that your possible move won't occur until after the baby is born.
ADPiZXalum- Oh sweetie, I feel ya with the teaching. It is truly an exhausting job. If you ever need someone to gripe to please feel free to email me at adpi22@cox.net. I'll completely understand.
TP- I know your interview will go smoothly, then you can come on here and say you got the job . I'll be keeping you in my thoughts sweetie.
On my front. I received word the my younger brother, Erik, will be deployed in October. Erik is a member of the AZ national guard. There is a 'up' side though, Erik is being deployed to Kuwait (which in my mind if he has to go then I'd rather him go there than Iraq). I'm keeping my prayers though that his deployment gets 'scrubbed' but I don't see that happening. But then again, we don't know what the November Presidental election holds, so who knows what will happen.

So if you haven't heard by now, I guess you've been living under a rock, but Hurricane Ivan is gearing up to slam the Gulf Coast and as far inland as all of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Lousiana, and probably others that I can't think of at the moment. Well, I'm in Birmingham, preparing for very high winds and massive power outages. Please pray for all in these states, as we are worried. Thanks sisters!

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I heard from the surgeon today and it looks like I will be flying out to Boston this weekend and having surgery at the end of the week (thurs the 23rd or friday the 24th). I have a pre-op on Monday so I'm freaking out how fast everything is going. I thought I would have more time than this but I suppose its better to take care of this now.... :-/

You'll be in my prayers concerning this. If it makes you feel any better, I've had this surgery a couple times. It was done through the navel, so there's no scarring. It's best to catch early, so you can conceive (I've been able to), and you'll feel so much better afterwards!
