I was in a Ben Affleck (sans J-Lo) kinda mood last weekend, so I watched Good Will Hunting and Chasing Amy. When I was going through my movies, I realized that I have a hell of a lot of Ben Affleck movies in my collection: Good Will Hunting, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Armageddon...and I'm probably going to buy Daredevil just so I can see him in that red leather suit whenever I want to.

I just came back from seeing the movie S.W.A.T. and it was AWESOME!!! Not only does it have some nice eye candy (Colin Farrell, LL Cool J), but it has great action sequences and an interesting (albeit *slightly* predictable) plot.

I saw 4 movies this weekend (1 at the theater and 3 rentals): American Wedding, The Guru, Death to Smoochy, and Monsoon Wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them! AW wasn't as good as the first 2 Pie's, but it was very good considering it's the third in a series. It kept me laughing the whole way through. The Guru was a very funny movie, and I wish it had been in wide release in the theater, because I think it would have done very well. Marissa Tomei is a great actress and I think she should do more movies than she does. Death to Smoochy was much better than I thought it would be. It was kind of weird to see Edward Norton doing comedy, but he was awesome in it (so was Robin Williams, but that's a given!). I liked Monsoon Wedding, but I'm glad that my boyfriend was there to explain some of the stuff that I was confused about, although he kept trying to figure out how to curse in Hindi from reading the subtitles, lol.

I just rented and watched Anger Management and it is another two hours of my life that I can never have back. Usually I can deal with dumb comedy, but this wasn't even an uncomfortable kind of funny like, say, Meet The Parents or Something About Mary or other previous Sandler flicks. I sat there shaking my head through the whole movie, knowing exactly what was coming next, and totally not enjoying myself!

Last night I went to see Underworld, it was really good especially since Scott Speedman is in it. He's so cute.

Today I saw Confidence (Edward Burns, Rachel Weiss, Andy Garcia, Dustin Hoffman). It was told in flashbacks and was a complicated crime/con movie, but it was very good.
