ADPi was where all the classy, fun, southern girls went on our campus... plus it's a strong sorority in my homestate and I knew it would be a good choice to fit with my morals beyond just the girls in my chapter.

One night I took 3 of my sisters muddin' in my SUV because they were from up north and didn't know what that was... needless to say we got stuck and an hilarious ordeal ensued!

Sorry I've been MIA for several months. Ever since Recruitment things have been absolutely crazed at my house. My daughter was going through a really bad time and we couldn't figure out what the problem was. Finally after months of doctors appts, tests and such I think we've got a handle on things. (fingers crossed)

So hello to everyone! I missed you all!

1) Northern Arizona University

2) Epsilon Xi

3) Alum

4) Recruitment VP, Panhellenic Delegate, Intramurals Chair, Order of Omega VP of membership

5) I rushed my freshman year. I thought it would be a great experiece even if I opted out of joining a house. Well Pref night came and I had to make a decision ADPi or another house that I won't name. I struggled with the decision for over an hour!!! But when it came down to it, I loved the ADPi girls I had meet. They were genuine, wonderful women!

6) My favorite memory is from my freshman year. About 10 of us were sitting in the chapter room one Sat. night just hanging out. About 11pm out of the blue one of us say "Hey lets go to Vegas!" We thought it was a great plan. So we all piled into a one of our sister's van and drove 3 hours to vegas, walked on the strip for about 3 hours and then came home. It was so much fun. The random events are always the best!

Dear Sisters,

This is my first time posting on Greekchat. I just found it today and it seemed like a great resource. I am from BU's Rho chapter. We are looking forward to a week of Spring Recruitment upon our return to school! Hope you all had a nice holiday break, and "may all your troubles last as long as your new year's resolutions!"

Roll Call
1. Boston University
2. Rho
3. Collegian (sophomore)
4. New Member Coordinator (Just got elected in November; I'm so excited!!)
5. I was torn between two sororites during recruitment. Then I went to Pref night for both of them; one was very nice and elegant, but the other one (ADPi's) made me cry. I was just overwhelmed by the obvious love/friendship between the girls. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I haven't looked back since.
6. My favorite ADPi memory is having a sleepover with my Diamond sister after initiation. We stayed up talking until 5 AM. Despite our age differences (she was a senior and I was a freshman), I truly consider her one of my best friends. Unfortunately, she graduated in May and I was just devestated. It hasn't been too bad though--we still have nightly "phone dates" (some are 2+ hours!) and managed to visit each other twice this year. She was the biggest factor in why I fell in love with ADPi, and it my most sincere wish that I can be as good of a Big to an Alpha someday as she was to me.
My most recent favorite memory was being elected New Member Coordinator (Alpha Mom)...I absolutely cannot wait to meet our new girls!!

Welcome to GreekChat, AlphaMom!! I know we have at least one other Rho sister here, but I haven't seen her in a while. Hope you enjoy yourself, though - and thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself!
