wareagle93, i would love to read about your rush experience!
I would be more than happy to start a thread sharing my experience over the summer. I'll do it in another thread, as I don't want to take away the attention and recognition for the people that this thread is dedicated to-the women that went through UGA recruitment.

If anyone else would like to here my story, just let me know!

Believe it or not, I just learned of another girl to pledge her legacy today (well yesterday since it's past midnight) at UGA! A neighbor's daughter went Pi Beta Phi, which she is a double legacy to. Also, she is a sophomore. I know a lot of legacies get cut, but I now know 7 who didn't -- 6 at UGA and one at Miss. State.

The "Gun" nametags disturbed me as well. Results for our hometown girls that I know of so far:
1 Pi Phi, 2 AXO and 1 AGD. Congrats to everyone!

According to the big sign, the theme is "Bullet Proof." You can recognize the physical house and hand sign. The girls look like they're having a wonderful time, at least.

I'm surprised by the "Geaux XYZ" shirts too, although I guess Georgia/LSU isn't a big rivalry. It's kind of nice that they didn't feel a Mardi Gras theme was off limits. You wouldn't see "Roll ABC" shirts at Auburn!

Their own nametags (not the new members) are an up-and-down <>, not the way ours is. Not knowing everybody's handsigns or houses, it's the only way I can narrow it down. The DZ new members look really cute!

The Gamma Phi Beta theme was apparently Mexican fiesta. I love what's on the back of their shirts: "Mi casa es su casa!"

I love the gun nametags, of course, though I wonder if anyone refused hers.

I'm guessing the organization by the baseball caps. Good for them.

I have been trying to reach the mom of a girl I helped this summer, all day, to no avail. I clicked on the bid day pictures linked above and the 1st one I looked it was a picture of her pretty smiling face! Hugging her Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters. I heart the internet.
