I want to ask for prayers for all those who are on the quest for a new, or better job. It is beyond frustrating when the rejection letters keep coming in the email box and people seem to not want to help in the quest.

In relation to what is happening in Mo, La. Ala, Miss, and the rest of the country, this seems to be a small problem.

I am on this quest and feel beaten down today. I know that there are those out there that are in worse situations. Send the power to help those.

Count me in, eli - tomorrow I have a potentially life-changing job interview. Y'all's prayers would be much appreciated. God's will be done, but it would be nice if His and mine matched up for this!

A woman from my church was in a terrible car accident this morning while visiting friends in Arizona. She reportedly has a broken neck and may have brain damage. Her husband has rushed out there from San Diego to be by her side. I would appreciate it if you could please lift up prayers for Jeanie. Thank you.

i was told today that my grandmother had liver cancer, and that the doctors have given her a year at most, this is the third time shes had cancer and has decieded that she isn't going to go through treatment again. i'm devestated, i tried to put on the brave face for my family and dh beacuse i'm the strong one in our family, but inside my heart has broken. i may not believe in any kind of higher power, but any positive thoughts/prayers would be greatly recieved at the moment..

I didn't get the job I interviewed for, and today was told my job at the school was a victim of declining enrollment. Please join me in praying for guidance and a new job!

I'm asking for prayers for a little boy named JJ. He is my co-worker's godson (I have probably mentioned him in this thread already). He has been such a trooper through his diagnosis of brain cancer, 2 brain surgeries, and several rounds of chemo.

JJ is 2 years old.

He has responded MIRACULOUSLY but the worst is yet to come. They are going to give him a year's worth of chemo in the span of one week.

His cancer is so aggressive, they are saying it's necessary. It's going to take him about 7 weeks to recover from this and the bone marrow transplant they are doing immediately after. He has been incredible strong-spirited, laughing and happy even through being sick, dropping weight, losing his hair, etc. He has never lost his smile and all prayers are appreciated!

Prayers for friends.

I'm trying as best I know how, but I'm really struggling in my new city. It's temporary, and I think that's making it harder, because I know I'll be gone in three months. I have such a strong support system at school, and to be physically separated from them has been really hard for me. I'm trying to make one here, but it comes with time and I'm just sick of being alone.

a close friend of mine lost his cousin yesterday to the drug violence in mexico. please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Thanks to all who prayed - I'm happy to report it's no worse than a dislocated shoulder, broken wrist and messed-up ear. The ear is being fixed by a plastic surgeon. Hoping they will spring him from the back board and neck brace soon.

WEAR YOUR HELMETS WHEN BIKING - THEY SAVE LIVES!

Also - there is NOTHING in your life that is so important that you can't STOP AT STOP SIGNS AND LOOK - REALLY LOOK - for bikes.
Woman who hit him just plowed right into him - he is very lucky.

Glad to read that this accident was not as bad as it could have been.
