Last night's episode made me want to give Derek a swift kick in the ass........
I think it is so stupid what is happening with Izzie....just kill her off already...

No kidding!! It is so out of character for him to get sooo angry. ANd batting the engagement ring away was just cruel!

At least she isn't having sex with imaginary men anymore. I can't believe that she has kept this a secret for this long, the suffering in silence is decidedly undramatic.

So I guess we're seeing dark & twisty Derek now and Meredith will be the healthy one? Most of this seemed so out of character for Derek that it's becoming difficult to believe.

Not really. Derek always wins, always saves a life, and this time he didn't and he's starting to doubt himself. We haven't seen this side of Derek ever.
And I wasn't really feeling Bailey's hair...

Derek was all gloom and doom when they were going through the clinical trial and he was killing people left and right.....
I didn't like Bailey's hair either....

I would expect more doom & gloom from that clinical trial since it was multiple patients all directly because of an experimental technique. However, even then, he didn't seem as unstable as he was in this episode.

This is the Grey's that I fell in love with when it first started. The group is back together, albeit for a very sad reason. My husband figured out that Derek was going to get called in on Izzie's case about 5 mintues into tonight's episode. (I hate telling him he was right. )
Sandra Oh and Justin Chambers have the most expressive eyes. I immediately teared up when Christina told him about Izzie. Then his about did me in as he realized what was going on.

Totally agree! I said the same thing to my daughter at that exact point in the show. What a great scene and vehicle to tell the others about Lizzie. And Justin's eyes absolutely MADE the thing work. We actually started analyzing everyone's eyes and what a component of the show they are because the rest of their faces are so often covered up. The worst eyes - Meredith.
I also think that Sandra Oh's character is so much more appealing these days. They have given her more depth, more emotion, etc yet she retains that original, driven component. I really like her this season and not so much other seasons.
I admit it, I teared up as they heard the news...and when George went running down the hall, paused to gather himself, and put a smile on his face to see Izzie, well, what can I say? I just love George!

As much as I used to like Izzie, I agree. I miss George already.
Bailey's hair was better this episode. WHERE is Tucker?
and *swoon and drool* over Biiiig Sloan. Can he get any cuter?
