FINALLY! Some interest about the show. I was beginning to think hardly any of us were watching this show at all. LOL!
I LOVE CYNTHIA!! Since when did Leon's name suddenly become "Noelle"? Did I miss something? I'm confused. I remember him playing as Little Richard sometime back, ... and he did Waiting to Exhale, too. (Trying to refresh my memory about him ...) I think they have such a beautiful friendship with one another. Cynthia is just a beautiful person!! I LOVE HER!!
And Phaedra is having a rough time convincing anybody about the dates of her pregnancy. Nobody's buying it.
And I think Kandi is just a bit too nice! I need to hook up with HER to get my career up and moving since she's so generous and willing to help people who can't even sing. But Sheree's hairstylist can sang his BEHIND off! Can't wait to see what comes of his music. Kim was so jealous when she found out Kandi was gonna work with him. Why not? He can actually SING!
And, Nene is really have a rough time, too. Poor dear ...

Uh huh but I'm still about to remove your Black Card.
You don't remember him from The Five Heartbeats and The Temptations (he played David Ruffin)? We are about to fight.
He's done other movies but those are two of my fav movies.

Awwwww, come on, doc! I'm still entitled to carry my Black card. I'm just not that much of a movie buff. Besides, I'm certified, because I still have Breakin', Beat Street, The Last Dragon and Purple Rain in my movie collection. So there ... hmph.

Kim's non-singing self is annoying as hell.
Sheree's non-dancing self is annoying as hell.
Sheree's 24 yo daughter was wearing an elephant necklace. We shall see what that means.
Cynthia's man is handsome.
Lawrence(?) can SANG.

OMG!!!! I knew I know'd this brutha from somewhere!! "Doctor" Tiy-E Muhammad is the dude from from "The Real Gilligan's Island". Sheree is in for a rude awakening next episode. Enjoy.
Glad to see he cut the dreds ...
Doctor's Orders, Degree's Fake
http://atlanta.metblogs.com/2005/06/...-degrees-fake/
In A Monk’s Reflections, Rev. Edward Malloy says “A college degree is not a sign that one is a finished product but an indication a person is prepared for life.”
I’m thinking Doctor Tiy-E Muhammad might’ve held onto that nugget for as long as he could until today’s AJC piece.
The former Clark Atlanta University associate professor turned castaway on TBS’ “The Real Gilligan’s Island” has called himself a psychologist on his Web site and book jacket covers, yet he is not licensed to practice psychology in Georgia or anywhere else.
Tiy-E Muhammad is a ‘professor’ on the TBS reality show ‘The Real Gilligan’s Island.’ But Clark Atlanta University says it let him go. His credentials are as uncharted as a desert isle.
Kara Sinkule, a spokeswoman for the Georgia secretary of state’s office, said Muhammad, known as “The Love Doctor” on a local radio station, could face misdemeanor criminal charges.
Claiming you are a psychologist without a license is illegal, she said.
Muhammad, 35, says he’s a doctor, but he didn’t earn a Ph.D. in psychology at the school from which he has said he graduated, school records show. In fact, he attended Southern Illinois University for just one semester as an unspecified graduate student, said SIU spokesman Tom Woolf.
Muhammad said he left Clark Atlanta, where he was an associate professor in the psychology department for four years, because he wasn’t paid enough and he “no longer felt that spark” from teaching. School officials said he left after they discovered his credentials were bogus.
Muhammad, who received a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from Eastern Illinois University, said Monday he was unaware that claiming to be a psychologist without a license was illegal.
“I checked it out when I moved here. It’s not against the law,” he said.
But when a reporter read Muhammad the Georgia Law Code that relates to psychologists (Sec. 43-39-7), he said, “I’m a life coach, I say I’m a life coach. It makes things simpler.”
[link] (reg. req.)
First there was the Cartersville editor stealing Leonard Pitts’ articles and now this so called “psychologist/author” turns up to be the bunk. And apparently he knew he was faking the funk, but was still peddling his information and making women swoon. And I took a class from him in undergrad when I cross-registered!
Talk about a smooth criminal.

I wish he had stuck with the masters degree and not faked the doctorate. There are people, many Black folks in particular, who would still listen to his advice without the PhD claim.

I completely agree. He, apparently, had the audience's attention during his workshop/seminar in which Sheree was present. Psychology is still a young science, and people have found all types of loop-holes in which they can practice it without a license, ... as long as they do not refer to themselves a psychologists.
But it's hard for me to believe this guy did not know he had to be licensed in order to wear the title. I think he is trying to plead ignorance. But the real question is whether his Ph.D. is even authentic.
All of this is so funny to me, because just this past week, one of the professors in the graduate department at my unversity was just revealed to have an unauthentic Ph.D. We were all under the impression that she was doctoral student at a university out in the mid-West. But when she finished the program, and it came time to submit transcripts to verify the degree, the address list on her transcripts were from some foreign country. Ain't dat CRAZY!!! But she still insists that everyone call her Dr. So & So and will even CORRECT you if you forget. LOLOL!!

Tonight's episode was funny.
1. It turns out that Phaedra was 40 weeks.
2. I respect Kim for having her nursing degree and having knowledge of nursing. I wish she'd stay away from singing.
3. Kim gave Kandi a wig as a gift. That's the most ridiculous gift. Why buy a wig for someone who doesn't wear wigs?
4. Phaedra is really really really dumb. She needs to shut up.
5. Sheree's "Dr." got embarassed at her party. LOL. Even if he received a PhD from an online (and nonaccredited) university, he doesn't have a real PhD. Perp. LOL. I'd say he needs his diploma snatched but he doesn't have a real diploma.
6. I kind of felt sorry for him because he claims the controversy stemmed from his claiming to be a psychologist when he isn't a licensed psychologist. I wish that was all it was but I think his degree's as phony as Roxanne Shante's. LOL.

Wow @ "we didn't leave the house for 2 years after we had our first one."
Many new parents are a little scarce during the first year, but two?

(I had to watch the re-run)
whoa @ the fake Dr. saying "queen."
I hope that was just editing. LOL.
LOL @ "you is tickled" I love it.
Cynthia's fiance` is handsome to me. I like them older, dark chocolate, and bald. I also love a trace of gray hair. Salt and pepper.
I really like Kandi. She's cool and she and Lisa actually make a cute pal team.
Is this THE Ashford University that Dr. T claims to have a PhD from? http://www.ashford.edu/home/ They are campus-based and have online degree programs. If this is THE Ashford University online program he's talking about, they don't have PhD programs.

Oh Lord ... We got another Tiffany Patterson Pollard (better known as 'New York' from Flava of Love) trying to pretend to be edu-ma-cated from an instution that doesn't even offer what she claims to have.
I just remember some years back, I was listening to Wendy Williams' radio show when 'New York' called in. When she mentioned what college she'd graduated from, Wendy kindly inform her that the college she was referring to did not offer a degree in the major she claimed to have studied. She was so busted! How'd she dress it up? By saying, (paraphrased): "Well, they did when I was there. That was a little while ago, so they probably don't offer it anymore." LMAO!!!

I think that his bio actually references Ashwood University: http://www.ashwooduniversity.net/ ...which makes this entire situation significantly funnier
