There is a slide show of designs designers (some famous, some not so much) have came up with in hopes that Michelle will wear their items for the inauguration. There is also one for the girls too!
Some of the designs I really like. Others not so much.

I really like those designs...especially the Monique Lhuillier. I'm so excited for her. And a resounding boo hiss to all those members of the general public who are complaining that she shouldn't be concerned about fashion in this economy.

Eartha Kitt, a sultry singer, dancer and actress who rose from South Carolina cotton fields to become an international symbol of elegance and sensuality, has died, a family spokesman said. She was 81.
Andrew Freedman said Kitt, who was recently treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, died Thursday in Connecticut of colon cancer.

I was so sad to hear that. I love her version of "Santa, Baby" and just her as a woman overall. Just a beautiful definition of sexy at any age. (Plus, I still hear her purring, " Marrrrr-cussss...."
