I *heart* CT4 and all of the other ladies of DST here on GC! You ladies lead by a great example! I've learned so much from you all and have now become a more efficeint "hater blocker" because of it. Thanks so much!
And to break of the interlude of wackness...Here are my thoughts...
Freshman Focus
Loved it! I have to say that it was awesome. Destiny...

For real though I could only take her in small doses, but that other chick (I forgot her name just that quick) the disloyal one (who by my rule that snitches get stiches woulda been somewhere sewn up) SHE woulda had a problem. I would have been tempted to smack fire out of her every time I saw her. I dispise disloyal people. Ugh! While I respect their choice with OT I would have made an entirely different one.
Just Be
After reading it I loved the fact that it was really set in a high school. There are many books that are written from a high school student's perspective (or are at least supposed to be) that don't even come close. In both FF and JB there wasn't anything unbelievable in them. Everything fit and flowed well. Since I read FF and JB back to back (they kind of bleed together in mind like one big book) I find it hard to seperate the two. I love this because in my mind I didn't buy and read two books I just read one story that continues (well will continue when I get the third one--which will be soon *silentprayer*

). Series books like Harry Potter are continuous, but each book is like a different story. There are components in each that tie it to the one before it, but it is not a seamless flow. HP is supposed to be that way, but with FF and JB each book tells its own story and those stories are part of a larger story that is the character's "real lives". I find that I like this more. In this case art reflects life truly. I loves it!
Thanks again for the autographed copies and the great books!
