There are apparently a lot of celbrities who are scientologists.

Leah Remini from "King of Queen's", Danny Masterson from "That 70's Show" and Jenna Elfma, just to name a few.

But none of them have come out to support Tom or Tom's comments to Brooke Shields. Well as far as I know, none of them have.

Well, this article isn't really exciting, but I highlighted the part I thought was uber-creepy:

NEW YORK (AP) -- The future Mrs. Tom Cruise has already tried on at least one wedding gown. Katie Holmes appears in the August issue of W magazine posing in a Commes des Garcons wedding dress and continuing to gush about her fiance. The couple, who went public with their relationship in April, haven't announced a date for their marriage.

"Tom and I will always be in our honeymoon phase," Holmes says in W, on newsstands July 22. In the interview, a theme emerges with many similar comments, including "Tom is the most incredible man in the world."

Cruise, 42, and Holmes, 26, became engaged last month after the "War of the Worlds" star proposed at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Holmes, who co-stars in "Batman Begins," has said she's taking lessons in Cruise's faith of Scientology.

"I'm learning to celebrate my own spirit, my own being," she says.

During the W interview, the actress wouldn't part from Jessica Rodriguez, who is described as her "Scientologist chaperone." Rodriguez's role in Holmes' life remains vague, though Rodriguez says they're "just best friends" since meeting around the time Holmes met Cruise.

"You adore him," Rodriguez told Holmes when the actress was at a loss for words to describe her love.

Leah Remini supported him in my latest People magazine. On the other side, Rosie O'Donnell kind of blasted him for his comments and praised Brooke for being brave enough to come out with her problem. This has really made me hate Tom Cruise. He has NO IDEA the stress of carrying and giving birth to a child.

I think Tom is just gooing through a mid-life crisis. Katie is his 'enabler' (?sp?).

Oh I didn't know about Leah Remini supporting him but I did hear about Rosie. I agree, Tom makes me sick because he has no idea what he's talking about. He's a pompous ass.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but I lost respect for Tom when he and Nicole seperated. Nicole miscarried THEIR CHILD and Tom doesn't even acknowledge it happened. According to the People magazine I read years ago when it happened. He called her at the hospital, after she had miscarried THEIR CHILD, to find out when he could pick up their other children that weekend.

I was completely appalled by his behavior. I'm sure he knew Nicole was pregant when he left her for Penelope, but to ignore that she lost their child just boggles my mind. Boggles it.

I lost all respect for him then. All of it.


Plus, shouldn't we considred Tom a cheater? If I remember correctly he was married to Mimi Rogers during the filming of Days of Thunder (when he met and fell in love with Nicole). Then he divorces Mimi, marries Nicole. 10 years later while filming Vanilla Sky (I think that was the movie, or it was Magnolia) he falls for Penelope (while married to Nicole), divorces Nicole and dates Penelope.

His track record isn't to great, so if Katie has any brains (which I don't think she does, personal opinion there) she would take the latter information into consideration.

This is exactly how I feel. The baby thing just kinda showed me he didn't care about anyone but himself. IT was reported that he didn't think it was his b/c they couldn't have children before. BUT HELLO!!! She was still his wife and thats a serious fall for Nicole. Be there and help her out!

Proof right there that he was straying. Blame Nicole for having an affair so there is no suspicion that he is actually the one cheating. What an ass!

I remember in that people questioned her friends and family and all of them were like "of course it was Tom's child".

He's an ass, man.

I think that is what made up my mind too. I never was a big Nicole fan, but I really felt for her during that mess. He just seems like the type that's got to keep trading up to the younger model.

Maybe he ignored the miscarriage, because Scientologists told him it was not real or some BS like that. How else can you explain his wacko behavior than his 'religion'.
