Time for a recap.

Amanda Avila- It was good but not sure if it will keep her in the competition.
Janay Castine- She sounded like she was purposely trying to do bad. She was seriously that awful. She doesn't want to be here so please send her home.
Carrie Underwood- Just an ok performance. She usually does a lot better.
Vonzell Solomon- Very ambitious of her to try to do 'Respect' but she doesn't have a powerful enough voice to do it. Poor song choice.
Nadia Turner- Great performance. Has the best stage presence out of all the girls.
Lindsey Cardinale- The best performance she's done so far. I still don't think it was enough to move her into the Top 12.
Mikalah Gordon- It cracks me up that she did a Barbra Streisand song because TWoP has dubbed her Babs 2. Anyhow, she started off really bad but the last few notes were good.
Jessica Sierra- I was worried for her because I thought she was going to fall out of her shirt on National TV. (Of course, perverted Simon made a comment about it). Anyway, she did a great job and had one of the top 2 performances along with Nadia.

I thought there were a lot of "ok" performances tonight. I think Janay leaves us for sure, but I don't know who else will go.

Amanda Avila - okay, nothing special
Janay Castine- why is she still here? She's worse than goat girl. She sounds horrible every week to EVERYONE, and is still ready to shit herself up there.
Carrie Underwood- better than most of the others. Needs more energy
Vonzell Solomon- agree with ZTAngel, she does not have the chops for this one. I really don't think anyone call pull if off like Kelly Clarkson did first season.
Nadia Turner- very good
Lindsey Cardinale- good for her but she still irks me. Just comes across as a nasty person (yes, I still remember the group auditions where she was a total bitch)... and I don't like for nasty people to succeed
Mikalah Gordon- she's 17, not 50. Has to find that middle ground between killing everyone with her personality and having NO personality.
Jessica Sierra- she did a good job, just something about her isn't right with me

I really dont' have a favorite this season, either girls or guys. I'm not sure if i'll continue watching. Same boring songs and boring performances.

there were maybe 4 girls that i didn't really like their preformances.....

however, i REALLY STRONGLY FEEL that Janay and Mikalha (or whatever her name is) need to take the bus back home!

My 2 cents on Mikhala:

I kinda like Mikahala (sp?). at first she was really annoying, uber-perky. I think she kinda realized she needed to tone it down but i think thats just who she is...i mean she is a cheerleader HAHA.

tho her performance was boring just like simon said. last weeks was way better.

Carrie: I like her alot but her song choices are hella boring. she needs to spice it up and not always pick those "safe" songs.

JANAY NEEDS TO GO HOME!!!!!! SHE SUCKS. WHAT A WASTE. WHO EVER THOUGHT SHE WAS GOOD?

Jessica: She has a strong voice. I like her.

YAY recaps!

Amanda - good "showgirl" stage presence and can perform... singing... meh. It's a tossup between her and Lindsey on who will go home because they probably both have similar fan bases.

Janay CANTSING - (tm someone clever) How she got this far I'm not sure. I don't remember her being this bad in the initial auditions in Hollywood. I remember seeing a clip of her doing group sings and I paused and said "wow she's pretty good." I must have been ill. This girl is way out of her league.

Carrie - I want to like you... but I don't. Sorry. I'm not digging the "I'm just an innocent farm girl from Smalltown, USA and don't know nothin', especially how to pick exciting songs for competitions so I'll just get by on how cute and girl-next-door I look." [/rant]

Nadia - I *heart* Nadia. Girl has the strangest wardrobe but she rox. Thank goodness she can be as original as she can be under 19E's terms.

Lindsey - I know Janay is gonna go home. I'm afraid she will too.

I like her voice a lot. Then again, I liked Julia DeMoto's voice too... but look how she turned up. I'm hoping for a different fate and it will be Amanda over her. But Amanda has the "Simon showgirl stripper" fantasy going on so those horny teens (and Vegas-ites) may have a leg up in the phone lines. But I like her. (But I'm just too lazy to vote.)

Mikalah - That song has a special place in my heart... when Latoya London sings it. Latoya sang the isht out of that song last season... Mikalah didn't do it justice. And like Simon... I can't figure this chick out. She pulled a "Scooter Girl." Remember how crazy she was in the beginning and the judges said to tone it down... so she REALLY toned down. And it was boring. Girl is 17... just be the annoying girl we saw. It makes it more interesting.

Jessica - Boyfriend said she looked like Anna Nicole 20 years young. And I was waiting for a wardrobe malfunction. That said... not bad. I liked the song. I think she said that in Hollywood accapella. She'll make it so there will be rivalry between her fans and the Carrie fans.

YAY vote offs tomorrow. And only a half hour!

Recaps! Woo!!

Amanda - I liked her, but they were right on the fact that she just isn't Tina Turner! But I thought she did ok.

Janay - OH MY GOD! I felt like I was watching the first round of auditions with how bad she was. If she isn't gone, I will be so pissed...and what's with Paula trying to incite a fan base for the girl...get a grip, she sucks.

Carrie - it was ok, but she is so much better than last night, so she's staying.

Nadia - I loved her song...loved her performance, but there is still something about her that irks me. Maybe it's that fake smile she puts on when she's talking and her pointy chin

Lindsey - This was one of her best performances, I thought. It started shaky, but got really good. And I just like her... I hope she stays.

Mikalah - Oh man!!! Again, BAD BAD BAD! I remember LaToya London singing this, and being blown away. This time, I was blown away that it was even the same song, it was so bad. She better go...but I have a feeling she won't.

Jessica - Really liked her...she's probably my favorite at this point. And if she pops out a boob, ah well

Simon loved it!

Amanda - ugh - I just cannot like this girl. Ugh!

Janay - needs to go - seriously needs to go....last month....

Carrie - I love her - Nadia is my fav, but she is 2nd because she can sing. She played it WAY safe last night - I mean like a man sliding into home with a terrible throw to the plate safe!

Nadia - Agreed....I *heart* Nadia. She does dress rather interestingly, but she is fabulous and I would love for her to be the next AI.

Vonzell - love her - she isn't as strong vocally, but she pulls out some great performances.

Lindsey - Did you have to ruin one of my all-time fav songs. Good Lord that was beyond horrible. I hope she goes home. I hope that Ryan says "the votes were so low for you that you are going home for BOTH girls tonight!"

Mikalah - beyond horrible - I am starting to get irked by her now and singing (or attempting to sing) a Babs song made it worse. Babs sucks - everyone already compares you to her, so why make it harder on yourself?

Mikalah and Janay are my votes to be kicked off tonight. They both just seem very weak lately in the vocals. For the guys, Im not sure. If anyone, Id say Constantine will be gone. Im not sure about a second guy.

People I like- Travis and Anthony and girls - Carrie is my fave. I like Nadia, but I like Carrie more.

I just want to see everyone sing some good stuff starting next week. This week stunk if you ask me. I want to see some good singing.
