Not sure if someone already mentioned it

Lyfe's album is really good. He has a lot of songs that you can tell come straight from the heart.

I'm very impressed and can't stop listening to it!!

I just picked up my Lyfe CD again after wearing out my new KEM CD for the past two weeks. I'm loving it all over again. I really had no choice but to listen to Lyfe this morning though. I looked up this morning and my husband had jacked me for my KEM CD. Has anyone had the chance to see Lyfe perform live?

Lyfe is from the city I live in, so he's always doing random appearances and gigs around town. I've seen him sing, but I wouldn't call it a full concert. It was a little community event and he came and did about half a song. But the brother has heart and some serious soul. I could feel it even in that 3 minute performance...LOL

I have yet to pick up the Lyfe cd, but I have heard so very much about that brotha. It is very clear that he is very soulful and sings from the heart. I may just have to cheat and allow myself to creep into my savings for that one...but I am scared cuz once I start it's a wrap. I always tend to splurge on music. I have also been hearing alot about Amerie's new cd.

Amen! Mariah did that DANG thang!

Free Yourself was the ONLY song a sista would play.
I cannot stand more than 15 minutes of Fantasia at a time.

I agree. I just picked it up Sunday at Circuit City, they had a sale on their cd's for $9.99! Common is great, gotta love him.
