I'm taking a summer class, but was allowed to walk with the May commencement (there's not one for summer graduates)
I'll be done in the beginning of June...and then off to grad school.
What are your after-graduation plans?
|
Congrats to you also!!
Well.. I was hired about 3 weeks ago to take a Long Term Substitue Teacher position at the middle school I was student teaching in.. so I'm there until the end of June. Then, I'm moving back to mom and dad's and working at the same summer camp I've been at for 4 years.
THEN, the 2nd week in August I am moving to Pasadena (right outside of Baltimore), Maryland (and I'm waiting to hear about a job...)

Congrats to all graduates!
Yeah, Cedar Point didn't work out, so it's back to scouring the streets looking for a job.

LOVE IT
this is from the DZ livejournal...
Symbol of the Turtle
"Taking their homes with them wherever they go, turtles remind us to remember our roots while still welcoming new places and phases in life. They teach us to appreciate life's simple, true necessities: shelter, food, drink, and most importantly, faith. The turtle's slow gait requires the animal to have faith that it will eventually get where it is going and that its needs will be satisfied along the way."
just thought I'd share..

You're very welcome! I finished up my student teaching and graduated grad school in May and moved back home until I know where I'll be teaching in the fall. I guess the last few months have been rather hectic!!! How are you??

I started out only applying close to home (within 45 miles), but then I got nervous and started sending applications to the eastern part of Tennessee, the Atlanta area, North Carolina, and Huntsville, AL. Good luck with the MD job!!! Is that your first choice?
