I'd love to lend a hand in that. Maybe I am just cuckoo, but I always tell people in stores if something looks good or not, and offer an alternative if they don't. No one should let their friends, hormones, emotions, or lack of shopping expertise allow them to look like boo boo on a paper plate covered with tin foil. I feel quite lucky, and honored that in my social group I am always the one to be consulted for fashion.

One time though, I wasn't paying attention. We got up very early after getting a little too tipsy at drinking from Mason Jars at the Slurp and Burp. We were headed to "the big city" for a shopping expedition. My friend was shacked up with her man, took a few minutes to get ready, and this was before my coffee.

When we got to the mall, over an hour away, homegirl was wearing TWO DIFFERENT BOOTS. One was black, and one was brown. The toes were even different. She had to go into the mall and buy new shoes, and I couldn't keep my composure.

I wish I had a picture of this, but the biggest fashion offense here is those nasty @zz trucker hats ala TrAshton, and Ferreal. But some people take it too far and wear that horrible hat with an off the shoulder one sleeved "Flashdance" shirt, a stripped and ruffled miniskirt, and those dead critter UGGS furry boots.

I am glad that the Reggae site is bringing so much shock, horror, joy and giggles. We could use it as a fashion don't example...but I am thinking many people here don't even OWN items that could make that many tragic fashion combinations.

I am going to start taking pictures with my camera phone when I am out. Some people in this cow town are outrageous! If you're in a dive bar (by dive I mean no windows, the ceiling isn't finished so it leaks when it rains, the men's room has no door or stalls, and once the ping pong ball landed in puke), perhaps you shouldn't be carrying signature Dooney and Bourke or trying to rock your Murafakey with your street walker mini skirt and nastay trucker hat.
