Pi Beta Phi will be returning to Miami University (OH) during 2023-2024 school year. It's also posted on the MU Cliff Alexander OFSL.

Alpha Gamma Delta will be returning to University of Tennessee-Knoxville in Fall 2024!! https://www.instagram.com/p/CsOsDqKrD80/
And here's their official instagram! Funny enough I mentioned how huge the pledge classes were this past fall and was wondering if they'd bring a new house to campus.

So, either AGD will be unhoused, or located outside of sorority village, or there will have to be a parking structure(s) built were surface parking is now to allow to a new chapter house to be built. This could get expensive.

Pi Kappa Phi will be closing at Case Western Reserve University(OH) due to low membership numbers. The above is a good article that discusses what I like to call the "death spiral" of a chapter struggling with numbers and recruitment.

This is what happened to our chapter at CWRU. We were recolonized in the early 2000s, had a 70+ chapter size and won many awards , including our best chapter (Maxwell Award). Then around 2010 there was a huge greek expansion at CWRU. Many fraternities and a few new sororities were added. Decrease interest in Greek life started to occur. Our membership began to decrease each year, we could not recruit new members, until we had 9 members by 2019. The chapter eventually closed after covid hit. I will be honest, the chapter alumni were not happy with the quality of men recruited and gave up/distanced themselves from the chapter at the end.

I have a feeling they could get a house, especially at a place like UTK where like many southern chapters, the big sorority mansion is part of the experience. But we'll see what happens as more information about the colony comes out over the next year.

The sorority village has not been a part of the UT experience for very long. I’m thinking houses opened about 12 years ago. There isn’t room for expansion. I was at Tennessee in the years leading up to AGD closing, and I am thrilled for them that they are coming back. It was hard to watch a chapter struggle. They may be able to take over a house on fraternity row, but I can’t lie and say that I’m not worried for them.
FYI - you basically have to take a bus to get to sorority village from the main campus. It’s not exactly “on campus.”

The frat house thing is a possibility for them when they come back. Why I mentioned houses being such a huge deal, as a PNM going through recruitment where there are sorority villages and such do want the live in experience at a school with the houses. But we'll see what happens or if they announce plans for some form of housing, even if it is an old frat house.

I do too, especially after you spoke about the advisor situation there.
