Why is it that ... I woke up this morning, got out of bed, looked in the mirror, and I shook my pretty head?

Why is it Norma Boyd was a phenomenal Soror.
Why is it besides her service to AKA, her commitment to Global Human Rights Activism was awe-inspiring and visionary.
Why is it sorors should check out her autobiography if they have not already.

Why is it that I met her in '82 after the Boulé in Boston?
Why is it that I still get chills, some 25 years later, just thinking about that encounter?
Why is it that she was giving me some of the history, but I didn't realize it until I was learning about Alpha Kappa Alpha, pre-internet?
Why is it that she told me to contact her if I made it?
Why is it that she became an Ivy Beyond the Wall some three years after we met?

Why is it that I choose to become a member of the first and finest?
Why is it that when we are FINALLY being REINTRODUCED to campus after 4 years
Why is it other sororities are ALREADY JEALOUS but they haven't seen anything YET?
Why is it that pink and green is now completely consuming my life?
Why is it that I know I will already enjoy every moment with my sorors?
Why is it that I love all 98 of my exquisite sparkling pearls?
Why is it that I fill like my life is now complete with my AKA?
Why is it that I'm gonna Skee Wee in like 2.2 seconds?
Why is it that I'm close to tears right now?
