ETA: too many variables.. does not compute... I'd need to know if it was jewel or symbol or flower, etc to try an figure this one out...

my guess is for Sigma Kappa or Sigma Sigma Sigma
-both have violet as their flower, pearl as their jewel, similar shaped badges, the magazine of both is called the Triangle, and both have purple as a color

hmm violets and pearls seem to be pretty common, a lot of sororities use the pearl as their jewel
