these listings, no offense, do seem a bit out-dated... so these are the 'every sorority girl's necessities' for the fall... or at least they are at my school....

1) Louis Vuitton or Prada pochette bag
2) Camo belt
3) Reef sandals in any color
4) lip gloss... a classic
5) anything Custo Barcelona
6) cut-off jean capris to wear w/ any and all sorority/fraternity tshirt to class
7) anything shabby chic for the apt.
8) an id/credit card/cash/change/key chain... this may be unique to only my school but it is definitely a necessity
9) the new tiny nokia
10) and ditto to maggie kay for the 'best guy friend'! they are the absolute best!

help me out guys... i know there are some more

Hey Ya'll...I absolutely love this topic....i've probaly read it a couple of times when i'm bored at work!!!! Here's my list of things at my school:

1. Black Pants(of course to go out in, I have three pairs!)
2. Party Shirt
3. Northface Jacket and bookbag
4. Tiffany's Bracelet
5. Kate Spade(I got a great deal on one in St. Thomas V.I.)
6. Clinique Make-up and the little bonus bags you put all your stuff in for your purse!
7. Of course black and white pearls to dress up your outfits for meetings!
8. All the latest styles in flip flops from gap
9. Fun Capris
10. Your Letter shirt to show off your sorority!
11. Happy Perfume or heavenly from Vicky Secret!
12. Polo Shirts
13. Those oh so perfect jeans to go to class in!
14. Of course your sorority tote bag...i meet more AXO when i have that bag!
15. Steve Madden sandels
16. Lavaliere of course
17. Nice classy black dress
18. I can't forget about my curling iron to make my hair all cute and bouncy!
19. My bible....COSMO!!!
20. Lip Gloss of course
21. Sweater Jacket
22. of Course a camera to remember all the fun times
23. Sunglasses to hide your tired eyes from partying too much
24. BLUSH....I can't live w/out my blush and bronzer

I forgot:

~~~Jessica McClintock perfume---it smells sooooooooo good! And I'm really picky about perfume---if it's too strong, I won't wear it.

~~~Clear nailpolish for runs in the pantyhose!

~~~Aussie Scrunch Spray and
Aussie Smoothy Gel

~~~Post-it notes and pens (you never know what you might need these for!)

~~~A three-way lighted makeup mirror (I got this for Christmas when I was 16, and it's awesome! Especially when I have to tweeze my eyebrows or put in contacts!)

~~~Instead of a curling iron, I use a curling thing with three different-sized attachments that have that velvety stuff on them (so it won't singe your hair!)

~~~Also, for parties or when I'm just feeling funky, I use another device that has four dif. attachments: a smoother, a shiner, a crimper, and a waver.

ok, so i am sitting here bored at work and i came up with a few more things:
-a light, nonoverbearing perfume (ie Abercrombie 8, vickie's Happy or Angel, Oxygen or Green Tea)
-khaki's
-capri's...but never ever wear a tube top and capri's it looks like you are trying to hard.
-tiffany's jewlery
-deffinityl LIP GLOSS
-Letter T-shirt
-Fraternity Banquet or Homecoming Tee
-Gray Sneakers/Tennis Shoes
-silver hoop earings or diamond like studs (not to big though!)
-any type of small cell that clips to the inside of your kate spade bag
-many different kinds of flip flops
-sorority sticker for your car
-sorority beer opener key chain
- cute single strap back pack (black or brown, leather is always good too)
-dark jeans!
-victoria secret underware/thongs/sleepware
-a pair of guy boxer's that were left at your place (even if they are your boyfriends or just a guy friends)
-beer in the fridge to always offer people when they come over
-the ability to throw a good party
-the ability to stay out all night and do well in your classes (it can happen and it does!)

1. Messanger bag with your letters on it.
2. The infamous Tiffany's bracelet with matching necklace. (I think that just screams sorority chick)
3. Pearl necklace with matching earings. (always looks nice even if you're wearing a baseball cap)
4. Baseball cap from Abercrombie, Gap, Old Navy or American Eagle
5. MAC lip glass (the best stuff in the world but, rather sticky)
6. lavaliere
7. Bid day t-shirt
8. Camera for taking pictures whenever and wherever
9. Ribbons for your ponytail
10. REEF sandals
11. Date function t-shirt with (almost) any fraternity on it.
12. polo shirts
13. short jean skirt (Abercrombie and GAP have some cute ones)
14. khaki shorts
15. ralph lauren sunglass or look alikes
16. school sweatshirt for snuggling up in on those cold nights or lazy days.
17. Pictures of your sisters all over your walls.
18. License plate frame with your letters on it.
19. A going out outfit that screams hottie!
20. Any comfy outfit from abercrombie on those days when you just don't have enough time to look your best. (so you can still look good)
21. A nice smile
22. Smirnoff Ice Yum!
23. Paint-pens for decorating cups on those specials ocasions (pomping, hayride, spring weekend!)
24. A journal to write down your favorite quotes.
25. Subscription to InStyle Magazine

That's about all I can think of, I tried not to repeat anything but i did have to list the obvious and most import things.

ain't nobody care about the letters? i found a site that has rhinestone tees that you get your letters on. with black pants- im good to go!

All of you girls must RUN to Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom's IMMEDIATELY! When I was shopping in NM the other day, I ran across a sale bin with leftover stuff from summer clearance. In it there was several gorgeous Kate Spade purses in those beautiful summer prints she charges an arm and a leg for. I got a big pretty tote for $100, marked down from $315!! I also bought one of her smaller planners marked down from $220 to $63!!!!! I was so incredibly stoked. But to make matters worse, I went to Nordstrom's the next day, and they're having their anniversary sale this weekend. All the bags there were marked down too! I wanted all of them. Most of them were around $150, but that's still a good price for Kate.
Anyways, hope you girls find some great stuff before the sales are over...

sorry girls, but an SUV doesn't cut it for me, I prefer my cute little silver car. Anyways, here are a few things that I can't live without-

~A hooded sweatshirt (wiht your school on it, or sorority) great for football games and really comfortable

~lipgloss of course (I like clear, merle norman or the cheapie kinds that taste so good)

~red nailpolish (bath and body works "volcano" is awesome)

~cute purse (nine west, kade spade, whatever, as long as it's PINK!)

~cruisin tunes!

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet...
every girl needs some high quality thong underwear. You have to have some discrete pairs when panty lines would be a problem (a major fashion don't of course), some fun pairs for Friday night, and some super sexy ones either as a pick me up or in case someone might see them!

Well i was reading my Instyle magazine and it said that the equestrian look is in, denim, corsets and lace looks are in. The cool thing is for these looks they did a thing on what you should wear in your twenties compared to your thirties etc. FOr the equestrian look in your 20's a denim skirt paired with a sleeleless shirt with a horse on it. Lace is nice, but not like the lace from Madonna days. A little goes a long ways. Check out http://www.instyle.com

I just thought I would add something seeing as Kate Spade seems to be very popular...she was a sorority girl herself! A proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma!! YAY Kate Spade!

So continue to support your fellow sorority member and buy her bags!

(I only own one, but plan to get more...just have to space them out a little!)
